Photograph

I like the faux vintage photo technique. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Guy Greetings

Paper:
   Pecan Pie A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 2-5/8 x 3-5/8
   Going Places DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Glossy White 2-1/2 x 3-1/2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Pecan Pie
   Crumb Cake
   Cinnamon Cider
   Jet Black StazOn

Technique:
   Faux Vintage Photos

Accessories:
   Antique Corners & Sliders
   Masking Paper
   Sponge
   Tissue
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I masked about 1/4" on all four sides of a glossy white panel, using Masking Paper. This created the border around the photograph.

I then stamped my image, using Jet Black StazOn ink. Allowed the ink to dry.

Next, I sponged on shades of browns. I used Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, and Pecan Pie.

Let the panel dry completely.

I then wiped the panel with a bit of tissue to pick up any ink before it smudged.

Next, I carefully removed the masking paper. I left the border as is, but you can deckle the edges, tear it, or add a few spots. I added some photo corners from my stash, using a glue dot for each one.

I then adhered it to a Basic Black matte.

I adhered the Going Places DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto a Pecan Pie card front.

Next, I added the vintage photo panel onto the top half of the card front. I used liquid adhesive, but you can also use dimensionals or your favorite adhesive.

I then stamped the sentiment on the lower half of the card front. I stamped directly onto the DSP, but you can also choose to add a tag or decorative die cut. I did not want to draw the attention away from the photograph.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

   Granny Apple Green 5-1/4 x 4
   Pineapple Punch 3-1/2 x 4
   Whisper White 3-1/4 x 3-3/4, 1/2 x 2-1/2, 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:

Markers:
   Pineapple Punch
   Highland Heather
   Granny Apple Green

Technique:
   Dry Embossing
   Clear Block "E" Stamping
   Punching

Accessories:
   Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
   Banners Pick a Punch
   5/8" Jute Ribbon
   Antique Corners & Sliders Elements
   Tear & Tape Adhesive
   Glue Dots
   Stampin' Seal +

I began with the 3-1/4 x 3-3/4" Whisper White panel. Using my markers, I colored the "E" clear block: Pineapple Punch, Highland Heather, and Granny Apple Green.

I sprayed the block and my white panel with water.

I stamped the panel with the clear block. I held it in place for a bit while the ink transferred to the panel.

I then set it aside to dry.

Next, I dry embossed the Granny Apple Green panel using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

I adhered some Jute Ribbon to the bottom of the panel. I did wrap it to the back and adhered it. Next time, I will just cut a strip for the front: 4".

I then grabbed the 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch strip and punched the left side of the tag using the banners pick a punch.

I then stamped my sentiment, and finished the tag by punching the right side of the tag.

I adhered this panel onto the card front.

I then stamped on my dry watercolor panel, using the trees from the Campology stamp set and my Mossy Meadow ink. This is a great group of trees. I adhered this panel onto the Pineapple Punch panel.

This was then added to the upper part of the Granny Apple Green embossed panel.

Lastly, I added the photo corners with glue dots, and the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
