   Word Window Punch
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the Hardwood background on the Old Olive panel, using Always Artichoke ink and adhered it onto the Old Olive card front.

I then stamped the flower silhouette from the Just Believe stamp set onto the Basic White small panel, using Old Olive ink.

Next, I adhered it onto the Apricot Appeal matte and then onto the card front, leaving space at the bottom for the sentiment.

I then stamped the sentiment on the scrap of Basic White, using Tuxedo Black Memento. You can change the sentiment to suit your current need.

Next, I punched out the sentiment, using the Word Window punch and adhered it onto the card front.

I then punched out the flowers:
   Large one-Apricot Appeal-Boho Blossoms Punch
   Small one-Daffodil Delight-Petite Petals punch.

Next, I attached them onto the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a pearl to the center of each punched flower and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Just Because Northern

I think I went overboard with the dark ink, but you can still see the Northern Lights effect. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Lovely As a Tree
   And Many More

Paper:
   Tempting Turquoise A-2
   Daffodil Delight 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5 x 3-3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Daffodil Delight
   Old Olive
   Tempting Turquoise
   Rich Razzleberry
   Night of Navy
   Basic Black
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Whisper White Craft

Technique:
   Northern Lights

Accessories:
   White Gel Pen
   Sponge
   Adhesive

I followed the Split Coast Stampers technique for the Northern Lights. I do need to ease up on the dark colors. Check it out.

Once the background was done, I stamped the trees, using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I then added a sentiment with a bit of Whisper White Craft ink.

Next, I added some twinkle dots with a white gel pen.

I then adhered the panel onto a Daffodil Delight panel, and then onto the Tempting Turquoise card front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Buttons

Three is a magical number: 3 buttons, 3 flowers, 3 colors...just because. Don't even get me started with the significance of 3 and religion. Although, in sports, 3 strikes and you are OUT! So, what do you think?

Stamps:
   Doodle This
   And Many More

Paper:
   Bumblebee A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black

Markers:
   Bumblebee
   Pretty Peacock
   Cherry Cobbler

Technique:
   None

Accessories:
   SU Buttons
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

Like many of my cards, the sentiment can be changed to suit your needs, or it can be left off completely.

The colors can also be changed to coincide with your accessories or your personal taste.

What I most enjoyed about creating this card is that your coloring does not need to be precise. After all, the name of the stamp set is, Doodle This.

Artfully Asian

These two background stamps layered onto each other created a messy background. Still, the flowers and leaves, once colored, shone through nicely. Don't you think?

Stamps:
   Artfully Asian
   And Many More
   Sanded
   Wonderfully Worn

Paper:
   Cherry Cobbler A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink & Markers:
   Cherry Cobbler
   Garden Green
   Pumpkin Pie
   Archival Basic Black

Technique:
   None

Accessories:
   Cherry Cobbler Candy Dots
   Adhesive

I was challenged to use two different backgrounds with two different colors layered on each other. So, I began with a Whisper White panel and two backgrounds: Sanded and Wonderfully Worn.

I then chose a stamp set that had images to color. I selected Artfully Asian from my collections and stamped three different images.

I then colored them and adhered the panel onto the card base.

You Made My Day

Have you ever had someone surprise you and make your day? These occurrences are few and quite rare. So, make note of them and remember to say thank you. Who knows? Maybe they will occur more often.

   Rich Razzleberry
   Night of Navy

I sponged the colors onto my Whisper White cardstock in the order that they are listed above. Remember to stamp from the lightest color to the darkest.

I then stamped my silhouette of daisies using my Basic Black ink.

The sentiment was stamped in black, punched out, and then sponged with Daffodil Delight. I adhered it using dimensionals.

Best Dad Ever

Father's Day is only two days away. Do NOT forget to let Dad know how much you love him. Here is a classic card for the Best Dad Ever.

Stamps: Guy Greetings, Sheltering Tree, Hardwood, And Many More
Paper: Pool Party A-2, Soft Suede 3 3/4 x 4 1/4, Very Vanilla 3 1/2 x 4 1/4
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz
Technique: Sponging
Accessories: Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware, Sponge, Adhesive

I like the image of the classic car next to the tree with a swing. I still remember the times we went out to the park as a family and had a picnic. It would turn into an all day affair with the kids chasing "lightening bugs" to put into jars. The adults were running races and having a wonderful time.

No matter what decade we are living, the constant is to let Dad know how special he is to you.

Thanks for dropping by here.
