Beautiful Bouquet

This stamp set may be retired, but its images and sentiments are forever. What do you do with your retired stamps?

   Melon Mambo A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

   Berry Burst
   Call Me Clover
   Melon Mambo
   Parakeet Party

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Deckled Rectangles Dies
   Basic Pearl Jewels

First, I die cut a Basic White panel, using the Deckled Rectangles Dies.

I then added the flowers, using Melon Mambo.

Then I stamped a bow, using Parakeet Party.

Simple Note 6x6#20

This is card 20 out of 30, using the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack by Stampin' Up! Sometimes, you just want to say hello or maybe send a quick reminder. Know that the recipient's reaction will be quite different when she opens this card instead of just hearing a beep that she has a new text. Which would you rather receive?

Stamps:
   Wishing You Well

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, 2-1/2" Circle
   Playful Palette DSP 4-1/4 x 2-1/2, 3/4 x 3-1/2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Emerald Envy
   Sweet Sugarplum

Technique:
   Punching
   CAS

Accessories:
   2-1/2" Circle Punch
   2017 - 19 Bitty Bows Embellishments
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Adhesive

This card used two pieces from Layout #9:

First, I stamped my wreath using Emerald Envy and centered the sentiment using Sweet Sugarplum. I then punched it out using the 2-1/2" Circle Punch.

Next, I played with the placement of the two pieces of DSP. I finally settled on tilting the larger piece and laying the rectangle straight across. Note that you can arrange these pieces anyway you like.

I then adhered the sentiment and the bow as shown above. The Whisper White panel was used on the inside of the card.

Sympathetic Bouquet

This embossed resist paper is one of my favorites. You can use your sponge or brayer to apply your favorite color or colors to it. Then just adhere your image or sentiment. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Wishing You Well

Paper:
   So Saffron A-2, Scraps
   Irresistibly Floral DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Whisper White 2-1/2 x 3-3/4, 5-1/4 x 4
   Pool Party Scraps

Ink:
   Granny Apple Green
   Melon Mambo
   So Saffron
   Pool Party

Technique:
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Sponge
   Stamparatus/MISTI/Stamp-a-ma-jig
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I sponged my background. The colors are listed above in the order that they were applied from the bottom of the panel to the top.

I then stamped my bouquet, added the flowers, and the ribbon.

I then sponged this panel with Pool Party. It was attached using dimensionals.

I stamped my sentiment on a scrap of So Saffron. I then matted it onto a scrap of Pool Party, and cut the ends at a slant. This was also attached with dimensionals.

I then added the emboss resist panel to the card base with a bit of adhesive. I added a small pearl to the ribbon and adhered the other Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

Tranquil Wish

Do you like to see balanced and framed images? Grab your Swirly Frames stamp set along with your favorite image and stamp away. I used Wishing You Well with my Swirly Frames for this one.

Stamps:
   Swirly Frames
   Wishing You Well

Paper:
Whisper White A-2, 4-3/4 x 3-1/2 (Trim after stamping frame)
   Early Espresso 5-1/4 x 4
   Berry Burst 5 x 3-3/4
   Tranquil Tide 4-3/4 x 3-1/2

Ink:
   Early Espresso
   Berry Burst
   Tranquil Tide
   Metallic Gold

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping

Accessories:
   Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers
   Adhesive

The Wishing You Well flowers are framed using the rectangular frame from the Swirly Frames stamp set. I stamped the images and then trimmed down my Whisper White panel a bit.

The background panels are tilted to give the card a bit more interest. Notice that the bit of metallic gold is stamped on all four corners of the Whisper White, Tranquil Tide, and Berry Burst panels.

I like the simplistic style of the card and the fact that it can be made quickly. You can never go wrong sending a bouquet of flowers to accompany well wishes.

Happy Note

Sometimes you just want to say, "Hello, how's it going?" Maybe you just want to let someone know that you are still in their corner if they need you. Here is a CAS card, whose purpose will be determined by what you write on the inside. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Wishing You Well

Paper:
   Granny Apple Green A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Shaded Spruce
   Granny Apple Green
   Merry Merlot

Technique:
   Punching
   CAS

Accessories:
   Curvy Corner Trio Punch
   Basic Pearls Jewels
   Adhesive

The wreath is stamped using Shaded Spruce and then adorned with pearls around it.

The bow is stamped with Granny Apple Green. This is a distINKtive stamp. This means that it stamps with the correct shading on it. How cool is that? It looks like real ribbon.

The sentiment is stamped with Merry Merlot. Note that the sentiment can be changed to anything you need, even Merry Christmas.

The Curvy Corner Trio Punch was used on the four corners of the Whisper White panel. The second Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.

This is an easy card to duplicate as well. So, gifting a box of 5 or 10 cards to someone would definitely place you in the favorites box.
