Vertical Congrats

The simplest layout can be the most appealing. As the familiar adage states, "Less is more." Thoughts?

   Tinsel Gems Three-Pack

   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Peaceful Garden DSP panel onto a Basic White matte and then onto the Cloud Cover card front.

I then stamped two potted trees, using Misty Moonlight ink, onto two of the Peaceful Garden DSP strips.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, using Secret Sea ink onto the third Peaceful Garden DSP strip.

I then arranged the strips as shown above and adhered them, using liquid adhesive.

Lastly, I added Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gems to the card front, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card front.

Thoughtful Thank You

This is a wonderful layout to use with any vertical sentiments that you have. Thoughts? 

Stamps:

   Bashful Blue A-2

   Chocolate Chip 5-3/8 x 4-1/8

   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:

   Tuxedo Black Memento

Markers:

   Bashful Blue

   Certainly Celery

   Chocolate Chip

Technique:

   Clear Block Watercolor

Accessories:

   Clear Blocks - B, H, D

   Celery Grosgrain Ribbon 5-1/4", 3"

   Water Mister

   Glue Dots

   Adhesive

First, I colored the clear block "D" with a Bashful Blue marker. I then spritzed it with a bit of water and stamped it on the top right of a Basic White panel as shown above.

I then followed the same steps, using Certainly Celery marker on the "H" clear block.

Next, I used Chocolate Chip on the "D" clear block.

I then stamped the floral image from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I added a strip of Certainly Celery ribbon on the edge of the color blocks. This allows for a clean line between the sentiment and the blocks of color.

I then stamped the sentiment on the left of the Certainly Celery ribbon strip, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I tied the 3" of Certainly Celery ribbon into a knot and attached it to the stem of the flowers, using a glue dot. I trimmed the ends of the ribbon.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Just Because Note

Write a quick note to let someone know that you are thinking of them. The care you take with this handwritten gesture will be appreciated much more than a quick text. Thoughts?

First, I adhered the Fresh Florals DSP panel onto the left side of the note card.

I then stamped the sentiment on the right side of the note card, using Fresh Fig ink.

Next, I added a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels below the sentiment.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the note card. This step is optional.

Vertical Love 6x6#28

I used two strips of designer series paper to draw attention toward LOVE. This is a very simple card with a huge heartfelt message. What do you think?

This card #28 used Layout #12:

This last layout #12 is my strip layout. I cut 1/2" off the bottom and then cut all of the strips: four strips are 1/2", four of them are 1/4", and three of them are 1". 

I took 2 of the 1 x 5-1/2" strips and adhered them to each side of the card base.

I then stamped my image and sentiment in the middle. I added three small pearls and adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

Vertical Birthday 6x6#18

This card used a vertical sentiment rather than a horizontal one. Sometimes we need to be different to be noticed. Any thoughts?

This card used Layout #8:

First, I stamped my tree in the center of the 2 x 4 inch piece of DSP.

I then adhered my two pieces of DSP onto the card base.

I stamped my vertical sentiment on the right side of the card front and added some rhinestones.

The Whisper White panel was adhered to the inside of the card.
