Knotted Pink

Everyone is entitled to their own feelings. Only you have control over them, unless you choose to relinquish that control. Personally, I choose happy as often as possible, but there are times when you just have to "feel how you feel," and it's okay! Thoughts?

Stamps:
   It's Okay

Paper:
   Calypso Coral A-2
   Mixed Media Florals DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
Tag 1-1/4 x 3-3/4 (DSP or Basic White)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Stylish Shapes Framelits
Petal Pink 1/4" Diagonal Trim (8")
   Low Profile Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Mixed Media Florals DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte.

I then knotted the Petal Pink Diagonal Trim in the center and adhered it to the bottom part of the Mixed Media panel. I adhered the ends on the back of the panel.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Calypso Coral card front.

I then took a left-over piece of DSP and used the light blue side to stamp and die cut the sentiment, using Tuxedo Black ink and the Stylish Shapes Dies. You can also use a Basic White or Boho Blue scrap.

Next, I attached it to the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I randomly added a few Low Profile Dots to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside.

In My Prayers

I think the bits of gold on the background places this card into the elegant category. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Hope & Prayer

Paper:
   Soft Succulent A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Texture Chic DSP 5-1/4 x 4
Pool Party - Negative from Framelit
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Framed Florets Dies (Negative Oval)
   Pool Party 3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dot
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Texture Chic DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Soft Succulent card front.

I then took the leftover Pool Party negative from a Framed Floret Die cut and stamped it, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. If you don't have a negative piece to use, then create one and save the frame for another project, or use it on this one.

Next, I attached the oval to the center of the card front, using dimensionals.

I then tied some ribbon into a bow and attached it to the bottom of the oval, using a glue dot.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Triplets

2-Step Stamping allows you to add the right accents with little effort. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Two-Tone Flora
   Something Fancy

Paper:
   Fresh Freesia A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Fresh Freesia
   Gorgeous Grape
   Shaded Spruce
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the top of a Basic White panel.

I then stamped three large florals on the panel, using Fresh Freesia ink.

Next, I added the accents to these florals, using Gorgeous Grape ink.

*This is a photopolymer stamp set, so alignment is easy.

I then added leaves to the florals, using Shaded Spruce. I did stamp-off first, so the leaves would be a bit lighter.

Next, I filled in some of the white space with a longer leaf, using Shaded Spruce.

I then adhered the panel onto the Fresh Freesia card front.

Lastly, I added a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Heart & Soul, Too

I found that acrylic paint dries rather quickly. So, you have to work fast. I was glad to get a few brush strokes on paper. What do you think?

Heart & Soul

Stamps:
   Good Feelings

Paper:
   Tempting Turquoise A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Mixed Media 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Acrylic Paint:
   Bright Yellow
   Turquoise
   Purple

Technique:
   Acrylic Paint

Accessories:
   Brights Enamel Shapes
   Stamparatus/MISTI/Stamp-a-ma-jig
   Adhesive
   Brush

First, I brushed on some Bright Yellow acrylic paint over the top of the card.

I then brushed some Purple underneath it, leaving the natural white space that was not covered by the paint.

Next, I added a line of Turquoise and then finished the front with a bit more of the Bright Yellow.

I then set my panel inside my Stamparatus and stamped it, using the Good Feelings stamp set and a bit of Tuxedo Black Memento. I decided to use the Stamparatus in case I needed to stamp the words more than once.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Tempting Turquoise card front.

Lastly, I added some Brights Enamel Shapes and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Since, I painted two panels at the same time, here is the other card, using another stamp from the set:

Heart & Soul Too

Heartfelt Prayers

I like to use vellum on my cards. I think it elevates my card to a new level. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Botanical Layers
   So Sincere

Paper:
   Tangerine Tango A-2
   Mossy Meadow 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Lovely Layers Vellum 3-3/4 x 5

Ink:
   Mossy Meadow
   Lost Lagoon
   Daffodil Delight
   Tangerine Tango

Technique:
   Blending Brush/Sponging
   Stamping on Vellum

Accessories:
   Brights Enamel Shapes
   Blending Brushes/Sponges
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I blended the background colors onto a Basic White panel. I began with the Daffodil Delight in the center. I then added the Lost Lagoon on the top and Tangerine Tango on the bottom.

I then adhered the panel onto a Mossy Meadow matte and then onto the Tangerine Tango card front.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the Lovely Layers Vellum sheet. I used Mossy Meadow ink. Remember to allow a bit of time for the ink to dry on the vellum before you handle it.

The Lovely Layers Vellum pack consisted of blank vellum sheets as well as a few printed ones. I think this one is a pre-printed one, so all I had to add was the sentiment. All of the images are found on the Botanical Layers stamp set, so you can duplicate them.

Once, the vellum was dry, I adhered it onto the card front, using glue dots behind the images to hide them.

Lastly, I added a couple of enamel shapes and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
