Glimmery Garden

Here is a fun way to use the leftover strips of designer series paper. I matted each strip to make it sturdier. I also chose to use a strip of glimmer paper between them to add a bit of pizzazz. What do you think?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Cloud Cover A-2
   Misty Moonlight 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 4 x 7/8 (3)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Peaceful Garden DSP 4 x 3/4 (3)
   Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper 4 x 7/8 (2)

Ink:
   None

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Hues of Blue Flowers
   Adhesive

First, I matted each of the three designer series paper strips with a Misty Moonlight strip.

I then arranged the three matted DSP strips along with the two strips of glimmer paper on a Basic White panel.

Next, I adhered all five strips onto the panel.

I then matted this panel with a Misty Moonlight panel and then adhered it onto a Cloud Cover card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of embellishments, Hues of Blue Flowers, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Night Star

Although I did not use the Christmas Gleaming stamp set, it does coordinate with all of the elements I used on this card. Simply, substitute any of the image stamps in place of the DSP and/or the foil elements. Have some fun! Thoughts?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Brightly Gleaming DSP 4" Sq.
   Night of Navy 4 x 3/4

Ink:
   None

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements
   Classic Weave Ribbon 8"
   Clear Faceted Gems
   Glue Dots
   Stampin' Seal+
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the 4" square of DSP onto the top part of the Very Vanilla card front.

I then adhered the ribbon around the 4" strip of Night of Navy, making sure the sentiment was centered on it. I attached this strip to the bottom of the card front, using Stampin' Seal+. You can use any strong adhesive that you have on hand.

Next, I added a star and two leaves from the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements pack. I attached these, using glue dots.

I then added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the star.

Lastly, I adhered a Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

Star Bright

Although I did not use a stamp set, everything on this card coordinates with the "Christmas Gleaming" stamp set. I do my best to use all of my supplies, regardless if they are current or not. If you do not own these products, substitute your own and simply use the layout or colors as inspiration. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Brightly Gleaming DSP 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   None

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements
   Classic Weave Ribbon (8")
   Clear Faceted Gems
   Glue Dots
   Stampin' Seal+
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Classic Weave Ribbon to the bottom of the DSP panel. I used a few glue dots on the back of the ribbon to hold it in place and then adhered it securely on the back of the panel. Note: I cut the ribbon so the sentiment was centered on the bottom.

I then adhered the DSP panel onto the Very Vanilla card front.

Next, I arranged and attached the foil elements to the front of the card.

I then added a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the star.

Lastly, I added a Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card. This step is optional, but I think it adds strength and a bit more elegance to the card.

Flaky Christmas

Here is another blast from the past. Every once in a while, I like to visit some of my favorites. Do you remember this one?

Stamps:
   Endless Wishes

Paper:
   Basic White A-2, 3 x 3-1/2, 1-1/4 x 3-1/2, 2-1/2 x 1-3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Coastal Cabana 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Coastal Cabana
   Smoky Slate

Technique:
   Sponging
   Punching

Accessories:
   Decorative Label Punch
   Snowflakes & Silver Sequins
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I randomly stamped snowflakes on the two Basic White panels (3 x 3-1/2 & 1-1/4 x 3-1/2), using Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate as shown above.

I then adhered the larger panel on the top portion of the Coastal Cabana panel, and the smaller panel on the bottom of it, leaving a space between the two panels.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Basic White card front.

I then stamped the sentiment on a 2-1/2 x 1-3/4 Basic White piece, using Coastal Cabana ink.

Next, I punched out the sentiment, using the Decorative Label Punch and sponged the edges with Smoky Slate.

I attached the sentiment, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added some snowflakes and silver sequins to the front of the card and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Golden Bells

I decided to go through my wood mounted stamps. I found this beautiful set that needed some love. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Bells and Boughs

Paper:
   Always Artichoke A-2, 2-1/2" Sq. (3)
   Deck the Halls DSP 5-1/4 x 2
   Cherry Cobbler 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 2" Circle (3), 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Always Artichoke

Markers:
   Always Artichoke
   Pear Pizzazz
   Cherry Cobbler
   Real Red
   Basic Black
   Stampin' Dazzle Gold

Technique:
   Dry Embossing
   Punching

Accessories:
   Gold Wink of Stella
   Starburst Punch
   2" Circle Punch
   Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder
   Gold Metallic Pearls
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I dry embossed the Cherry Cobbler panel, using the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.

I then adhered the Deck the Halls DSP strip on the left side of the panel, using liquid adhesive. This allows the panel to adhere well.

Next, I adhered the panel onto the Always Artichoke card front.

I then stamped the bells on two Basic White 2" Circles and the sentiment on another, using Tuxedo Black Memento.

Next, I used markers to color the bells:
Always Artichoke - Center of the Leaves
Pear Pizzazz - Fill the Leaves
Cherry Cobbler - Berries & Circles & Lines on Bells
Real Red - Ribbon on Bells
Basic Black - Outline Image & Ringer on Bell
Stampin' Dazzle Gold - Bells (Do not cover Basic Black Outline)

I then used the Starburst Punch to create an Always Artichoke matte for each of the three 2" Circles. I adhered each circle to an Always Artichoke matte.

Next, I arranged the circles on the card front and attached them, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a few Gold Metallic Pearls and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Real Shepherd

I do like a clean and simple card, especially when I have to make several, or at least until my supplies are depleted. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Shepherd's Care

Paper:
   Real Red A-2
   Basic White 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 5 x 3, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Season of Elegance DSP 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Crumb Cake
   Real Red

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Nested Essentials Dies
Real Red Woven Satin Ribbon - 16"
   Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Season of Elegance DSP panel to a Basic White matte.

I then tied the Real Red Woven Satin Ribbon around the panel, vertically on the left side, as shown above.

Next, I adhered the panel onto the Real Red card front.

I then stamped the images on the 5 x 3 Basic White panel, using Crumb Cake ink.

Next, I stamped the sentiment across the image, using Real Red ink.

I then die cut the image, using the Nested Essentials dies.

Next, I attached the panel onto the right side of the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequin to the center of the star and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Golden Pine

I created a shadow effect, using Basic Black cardstock, but you can barely see it. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Peaceful Season

Paper:
   Cherry Cobbler A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 2 x 3-3/4
   Season of Elegance DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Gold Foil 2 x 3-3/4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), 1-5/8" Sq.

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Shadow Effect

Accessories:
   Peaceful Evergreens Dies
   Peaceful Season Dies
   Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots
Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon - 6"
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the small circles on the top part of the Season of Elegance DSP panel.

I then adhered the panel onto a Basic White panel, making the circles appear like snowfall.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Cherry Cobbler card front.

I then die cut three trees from the Peaceful Evergreens dies: two in Basic Black and one in Gold Foil.

I then adhered the two Basic Black trees together. This is the shadow of the tree.

Next, I adhered the gold foil tree on top and slightly off to the right of the Basic Black trees. I then adhered these onto the left side of the card front. I used gold foil to keep it in step with the gold elegance of the DSP, but you can make it stand out more if you use a green color.

I then stamped and die cut the sentiment, using the Peaceful Season dies.

Next, I added a bit of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin ribbon to the back of the sentiment, using a few glue dots. I then attached it to the card front with dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a few Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed dots to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Christmas Forest

This is a card that can easily be duplicated. The background designer series paper can also be substituted with any Christmas background, just use what you have on hand. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Evergreen Elegance

Paper:
   Cherry Cobbler A-2
   Evening Evergreen 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 4-5/8 x 3-3/8
   Tidings of Christmas DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 4-1/2 x 3-1/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Evening Evergreen
   Cherry Cobbler

Technique:
   Stamp-Off

Accessories:
   Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment, using Cherry Cobbler on the top right of the smaller Basic White panel.

I then stamped the pine trees, using Evening Evergreen and a stamp-off technique. This simply means that I stamped twice before re-inking my stamp. I started with the left side of the panel. I inked the stamp and stamped on the left and then to the right of the same image. I then inked my stamped and repeated the steps. I brought the stamp down a bit each time until the panel was filled.

Next, I adhered the panel onto an Evening Evergreen matte.

I then adhered the Tidings of Christmas DSP onto an Evening Evergreen matte and then onto the Cherry Cobbler card front.

Next, I added the stamped panel, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a few red rhinestone jewels and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Golden Ornaments

Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets are perfect for adding die cut words to a card front. The adhesive sheet turns the die cuts into stickers. Thoughts?

Golden Ornaments

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Real Red A-2, 4-1/2 x 3-1/4
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   All Is Bright DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   None

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Merry Christmas Thinlits
   Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the All Is Bright DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto the Real Red card front.

I then adhered the 4-1/2 x 3-1/4 Real Red to a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet, measuring the same size.

Next, I die cut this panel, using the Merry Christmas Thinlits. I placed the die cuts on the Real Red card stock, facing up and the adhesive sheet, facing the bottom.

I then peeled the adhesive sheet carefully away from the die cuts and adhered it onto the card front. I used my pick tool and my paper piercer to place the die cuts because it was very sticky.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is another card, using Merry Christmas as the sentiment:

Golden Ornaments Too

Measurements for these dies cuts were:
   Merry = 4 x 2, Christmas = 1-1/2 x 5

Note: I punched small hearts and flowers on the bits and pieces of Real Red that were leftover to use in the future on other card. After all, they are tiny stickers now.
