I struggle with the concept of mixed media and the challenges that are presented. Does anyone have an easy explanation? Thoughts?

   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:

   Tuxedo Black Memento

Re-Inkers:

   Emerald Envy

   Peekaboo Peach

   Flirty Flamingo

Technique:

   Shaving Cream

Accessories:

   2016-2018 Enamel Shapes

   Foamy Shaving Cream

   Stirrer

   Paper Plate

   Paper Towel

   Adhesive

First, I followed the tutorial found at Split Coast Stampers for the Shaving Cream technique. Click on the link for written instructions with pictures and a short video. Remember to have fun!

Once, the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Flirty Flamingo card front.

Lastly, I added a few Enamel Shapes and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Feel Good Colors

Opposites attract. Do you agree or disagree? I was challenged to use two colors from the opposite ends of the color wheel. Yellow and purple do not look bad together, and Brilliant Blue is keeping them both calm. What do you think?

Accessories:

   MISTI/Stamparatus

I do recommend the use of a MISTI or Stamparatus. Basically, you should have the ability to stamp several times in order to get the images as dark as you desire. 

I do like this large stamp with all of its detail. I think I will have to stamp it again and then color it. Well, that is another card for another day.
