Hammered Birthday

I used the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder to create the faux metal squares behind the image. Surprisingly, I only applied one layer of silver embossing powder to my paper. Thoughts?

Hammered Birthday

Stamps:
   Enjoy the Moment

Paper:
   Strawberry Slush A-2, 4-1/4 x 2-1/4
   Mossy Meadow 4-1/2 x 2-1/2
   Basic White 4 x 2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Basic Black 5-1/4 x 4
   Sahara Sand 8-1/2 x 2-3/4 (10 - 1-1/4" sq.)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Strawberry Slush
   Mossy Meadow
   VersaMark

Markers:
   Mossy Meadow
   Strawberry Slush

Technique:
   Faux Tin Metal

Accessories:
   Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder
   Silver Embossing Powder
   1-1/4" Square Punch
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   White Twine
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I cut all of my cardstock to size.

I then made my faux tin metal squares:
I took the strip of Sahara Sand and using VersaMark I covered it all, but an inch or so from the bottom, in order to have room to pick it up.
Since, I got VersaMark on my scrap paper, I removed it and added a clean sheet to emboss over.
I covered the strip with Silver Embossing Powder and heat set it.
I set it aside to let it cool.

Next, I stamped and colored my image on the Basic White piece. I added the sentiment on top of it.

I then adhered the stamped piece onto the Strawberry Slush and then onto the Mossy Meadow.

I used about 24" of White Twine and tied a bow at the base of this piece.

I then took the cooled silver embossed strip and punched ten 1-1/4" squares. FYI: I was able to get twelve squares, so I saved the extra to use on another project. I also punched stars from any other scraps that were left. I set these aside too for future use.

I then placed ten squares into the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder - Silver side up, and ran it through the embossing machine.

I took the ten squares and aligned them onto the edges of the Basic Black panel. I adhered the four corners first, followed by the two top and bottom squares. Lastly, I adhered the two right and left middle squares. The middle of the Black panel stays empty because the image will cover it.

I then adhered this Basic Black panel onto the Strawberry Slush card front.

I attached the image panel using dimensionals and added a few rhinestones.

Lastly, I adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is another card I made using the same steps and technique:

Hammered Birthday Too

I used all of the same materials on this card. I did not color at all. The image was stamped directly using Strawberry Slush and the sentiment was stamped using Mossy Meadow.

Here are the two cards side by side.

Hammered Birthday Tre

As you can see, I took this picture before adding any rhinestones to the cards.

Enjoy Your Birthday

The images allow you to use any sentiment you need. You can also leave off the sentiment to create an all-occasions card. Use your favorite color combination or the recipient's favorite color. Have some fun! What do you think?

Stamps:
   Enjoy the Moment

Paper:
   Green Galore A-2
   Gable Green 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Brads
   Adhesive

Just take a SIP when you begin. Use Stamps, Ink, and Paper. I added a few brads, but they can easily be deleted.

First, I stamped images and a sentiment from the "Enjoy the Moment" stamp set. I used only one ink color.

I then added a few brads that I had in my stash.

I adhered the Gable Green panel onto the Green Galore card base. I added the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Colorful & Crimpy Thanks

I decided to dust off my crimper and add a bit of texture to my card. I think it also draws your attention to see and feel something that is not part of the norm. What are your thoughts?

Stamps:
   Enjoy the Moment
   Simply Succulents

Paper:
   Granny Apple Green A-2
   Bermuda Bay 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Artistry Blooms DSP 1-1/2 x 4

Ink:
   Granny Apple Green
   Daffodil Delight
   Melon Mambo
   Bermuda Bay

Technique:
   Blending/Sponging
   Crimping

Accessories:
   Bright's Candy Dots
   Crimper
   Blending Brush or Sponge
   Tear & Tape Adhesive
   Adhesive

I used three images from the "Enjoy the Moment" stamp set. I stamped them using Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green inks.

Next, I stamped my sentiment in Granny Apple Green. The sentiment is from the "Simply Succulent" stamp set.

I then ran my 1-1/2 x 4 inch piece of DSP through my crimper. I adhered it using tear & tape adhesive.

I then adhered this panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay and then onto the Granny Apple Green card base.

I decided to add a few candy dots that have been discontinued. You can easily add pearls, rhinestones, or any other embellishment you have on hand.

Thank You Madness

These images are easily stamped using one color, or you can add color using your favorite medium. Personally, I like the clean and simple look, plus I am meeting the color challenge of using only Magenta Madness, Granny Apple Green, and Basic Black. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Enjoy the Moment
   Heal Your Heart

Paper:
   Basic Black A-2
   Granny Apple Green 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Granny Apple Green
   Magenta Madness

Technique:
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Blending Brush
   Adhesive

First, I blended Granny Apple Green and Magenta Madness inks on my Whisper White panel. I used the new blending brush from Stampin' Up! You can substitute a sponge if you do not have a blending brush.

I then placed the panel in my Stamparatus to stamp my images. You can also use a MISTI.

I then stamped my sentiment on the top right hand corner. This sentiment is from a Sale-a-Bration stamp set that will be available to earn in January, 2021 with a qualifying purchase.

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones and attached my panels onto the card base.
