Healing Prayers

Stamp directly onto your designer series paper when possible. Many of these sheets are works of art, so let them do their work. Just add a sentiment or a few stamped images and frame it on a card base. What do you think?

Stamps:
   On the Horizon
   Kindness & Compassion

Paper:
   Bumblebee A-2
   Basic Black 1/4 x 5-1/4 (2)
   New Horizons DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Evening Evergreen
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the tree line using Evening Evergreen.

I then stamped the grasses near the bottom of the DSP, using Evening Evergreen.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the panel with Tuxedo Black Memento.

I then added the birds using Tuxedo Black Memento.

I adhered a Basic Black strip on the left side of the card base.

I then aligned the DSP against the strip, and adhered the other Basic Black strip on the right side of the DSP.

Lastly, I added the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

This pack of New Horizons Designer Series Paper does all of the work for you. The possibilities are unlimited. You can stamp on it, or you can choose to simply adorn your card front with it. Below are four different cards I made using only one sheet from the pack. What do you think?

Happy Birthday Horizon

Relax Horizon

Thinking of You Horizon

Thank You Horizon

Stamps:
   On the Horizon
   Best Year
   Grassy Grove

Paper:
   Basic White A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Basic Black 3-1/8" Sq.
   New Horizons DSP 3" Sq.

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels

First, I cut my 6x6 DSP sheet into 3" Squares.

I then stamped each of the squares. The trees on the Thank You card are from the Grassy Grove Stamp Set. All of the other images are from On the Horizon Stamp Set.

I matted the four squares using Basic Black and attached them with dimensionals.

Next, I stamped the sentiments. The birthday and thank you sentiments are from the Best Year Stamp Set. The others use On the Horizon Stamp Set.

Lastly, I added rhinestones or pearls to the card fronts and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of each card.

Broken Fences

This designer series paper did all of the work for me. I added some simple stamping in one color and two die cuts. This was truly easy to make. Yet, it turned out amazingly beautiful. What do you think?

Stamps:
   On The Horizon

Paper:
   Pale Papaya A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Wood Textures DSP 2 x 3-1/4
   Garden Green 1-1/4 x 3
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Horizon Dies
   Pebbles Enamel Shapes
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the trees on the right side of the horizon.

I then stamped the sentiment on the top of the card.

Next, I randomly stamped birds across the sky.

I then die cut the fence and placed it unevenly and somewhat lopsided as if it was falling.

I die cut a bit of grass and adhered it to the bottom right corner.

I then assembled the card. I adhered the DSP panel onto the Basic Black and then onto the card front. I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Lastly, I placed a few pebbles on the card.
