I began by stamping the blades of grass in Old Olive and Garden Green on the bottom of the card.

I then stamped the stems with Call Me Clover and added Garden Green for the leaves.

I used Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo, and Lovely Lipstick for the flowers.

Next, I stamped the lady using Archival Basic Black and filled in her dress with Berry Burst. I colored her hat with a marker.

I then stamped the sentiment and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I attached it with dimensionals.

I added a strip of Gold Glitter Ribbon to mask the stems on the grass. I used tacky tape on the back of the panel to keep the ribbon in place.

I then adhered the panel to the Berry Burst card front.

Next, I added rhinestones to adorn the lady and her bed of flowers.

Lastly, I adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Hanging Out Too

When was the last time you met with a friend simply to enjoy each other's company? We live in a fast-paced society where we text, call, or reach out only in times of need. It is not unusual to see friends and family sitting together for a meal, but each is on their own device. Sad to see people ignore what is right in front of them. Now is the time to put down those devices and rekindle those soon to be forgotten friendships and personal relationships. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   In the Trees

Paper:
   Wisteria Wonder A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Wild Wasabi
   Old Olive
   Summer Sun

Markers:
   Various Copic Markers

Technique:
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Sponge
   Adhesive

First, I sponged my Whisper White panel with Summer Sun.

I then stamped two trees, a hammock, a squirrel, and birds, using the Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I held up the hammock and made a light pencil mark to make sure the trees were spaced enough.

I then colored my images using various Copic markers. You can use any medium that you have on hand: colored pencils, chalks, watercolors, markers, oils, etc.

I stamped the grass using Old Olive and Wild Wasabi.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and adhered the panel to the card front. The other Whisper White panel was adhered to the inside of the card.

Mountainside

How often do you stop and admire the beauty around you? Here is a scenic card that I made using the Waterfront and In the Trees stamp sets.

Stamps:
   Waterfront
   In the Trees

Paper:
   Pool Party A-2
   Watercolor 5 1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Soft Sky
   Night of Navy
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Wisteria Wonder
   Pool Party
   Whisper White

Technique:
   Watercolor

Accessories:
   Aqua Painter, Adhesive

I used my Aqua Painter to blur some of the lines around the lake. If you look closely, you will notice that I dropped my stamp several times on the card as well. I guess that is why no two cards are exactly the same. I also stamped trees in the mountains. They are hard to see, but they are there. You just have to play with the set until you are happy with your result.

Thank you for stopping by and having a look. I appreciate your time and comments.
