Purple Christmas

The silver foil panel adds glimmer and elegance to this card. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Good Greetings

Paper:
   Purple Posey A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), 1/4" Strip
   Silver Foil 5 x 2-1/4
   Feels Like Frost DSP 4-3/4 x 2

Ink:
   Highland Heather
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Sponging
   Punching
   Dry Embossing

Accessories:
   Softly Falling Embossing Folder
   Washi Label Punch
   Sponge
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped, punched, and sponged the sentiment. I used Tuxedo Black Memento for stamping, and the Highland Heather for sponging. The strip of Basic White was punched with the Washi Label Punch.

I then took one of the Basic White panels and dry embossed it, using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. I adhered this panel onto the Purple Posey card front.

Next, I adhered the DSP panel onto the Silver Foil panel and then adhered this panel to the right side of the card front, using liquid adhesive.

Lastly, I adhered the sentiment with dimensionals, and added the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Sympathy Moments

A beautiful serene scene is all that is needed for a sympathy card. I believe in letting the paper do most of the work. Thoughts?

Sympathy Moments

Stamps:
   Peaceful Moments

Paper:
   Balmy Blue A-2
   Feels Like Frost DSP 5-1/2 x 3
   Vellum 1-3/4 x 5-1/4
   Basic White Strips 1/2 x 5-1/2 (2), 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Night of Navy

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Glittery Clear Epoxy Shapes
   Tear & Tape
   Adhesive

First, I adhered a Basic White strip on each side of the designer series paper (DSP) panel. You can easily place the DSP panel onto a Basic White panel that measures 3-1/4 x 5-1/2. I chose to use strips because I have many left-over ones from cutting panels for other cards.

Next, I stamped my sentiment onto the center of a vellum panel. I allowed the panel to dry for a few minutes.

I then wrapped the vellum around the panel and adhered it to the back, using strips of tear and tape. Any strong adhesive will do the job.

I then adhered this panel onto the Balmy Blue card front.

Lastly, I added glittery clear epoxy shapes and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is another card with the sentiment on the upper part of the card:

Sympathy Moments Too

Stitched Yuletide

The snow-covered branches lend a beautiful contrast to the die cut foliage on this card. I think the colors complement each other well, and the rhinestones accentuate the corners.

Stamps:
   Frosted Foliage

Paper:
   Pretty Peacock A-2, 5 x 4 1/4
   Whisper White 3 x 2 3/4, 5 x 4 1/4
   Feels Like Frost DSP 5 1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Pretty Peacock

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Sewing

Accessories:
Frosted Frames Dies, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Thread, Dimensionals, Adhesive

The stitching with actual thread was added to meet a challenge. I would not include this on future cards, unless it was requested. I think the card with the faux stitching is beautiful on its own.

I would, however, add a few sparkles to the branches: rhinestones, sequins, pearls, or brads.

Christmas Wishes

I am so happy with this "Feels Like Frost" Designer Series Paper. The 6 x 6 paper pad includes prints of beautiful photographs. So basically, the paper is doing all of the work.

Stamps:
   So Many Stars

Paper:
   Night of Navy A-2, Scrap
   Feels Like Frost DSP 5 1/4 x 4
   Whisper White 5 1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Night of Navy

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Stamparatus

Accessories:
Stitched Stars Dies, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Glue Dots, Adhesive

The Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.

I used a Stamparatus to make sure my sentiment was aligned and as dark as possible.

I die cut the small star and adhered it with a tiny glue dot.

I added 6 rhinestone jewels to add a bit of sparkle to the card. You can use sequins, pearls, Wink of Stella, etc.

Thank you for dropping by here. I appreciate your time and thoughts. What do you think? Feel free to CASE, share, like, and pin my cards.

Light & Peace

I like Designer Series Paper (DSP) that does all of the work for you. This Feels Like Frost DSP from our SU Holiday Catalog is so picturesque, all you have to do is stamp a sentiment, greeting, and/or add a card base. Here, I stamped directly onto it with an angel and a sentiment. What do you think?

   Seaside Spray A-2
   Feels Like Frost DSP 5 1/4 x 4
