Dove in Flight

I chose to place a dimensional under the right wing of the dove, giving it some dimension. I also added some clear Wink of Stella, allowing the wings to sparkle. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Cloud Cover A-2
   Basic White 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 1-5/8 x 2-1/4, 3/4 x 1, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Peaceful Garden DSP 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Balmy Blue
   Darling Duckling
   Soft Sky

Technique:
   CAS
   Die Cutting
   Blending (Sponging)

Accessories:
   Blending Brushes
   Hues of Blue Flowers
   Peace on Earth Dies
   Black Marker (Fine)
   Wink of Stella Brush (Clear)
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Peaceful Garden DSP panel onto a Basic White matte, and then onto the Cloud Cover card front.

I then die cut the dove and envelope. The envelope die cut actually cuts two envelopes at one time. So, just save the other one to use on another card, or glue both together and create a dimensional look.

Next, I used blending brushes to gently blend ink onto the dove. I used Balmy Blue on the tips of the wings and tail. I then added Darling Duckling onto the belly and a bit of the tail. Lastly, I added a bit of Soft Sky to blend the two colors together.
NOTE: Always begin blending on a your scratch paper and slowly move on to the image. This way your splotches will be on the throw away scrap and not on your image.

I then took a black permanent marker with a very fine tip and dotted an eye on the dove.

Next, I adhered the envelope on the card front.

I then added a bit of sparkle to the wings and tail of the dove, using my Clear Wink of Stella brush.

Next, I placed a dimensional on the back of the right wing and liquid adhesive on the rest of the dove. I attached it to the card front, as shown above.

Lastly, I added a few Hues of Blue Flowers on the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

A Little Sassy

Here's one to let everyone know that you are a team player, as long as they follow your lead. At times, there is no other way, so why not make them smile a bit. Thoughts?

Stamps:
A Little Snarky by Sweet 'n Sassy
Sassy Laugh Lines by Art Impressions

Paper:
   Pumpkin Pie A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), 2-3/4 x 3/4
   Masterfully Made DSP 1-3/4 x 5-1/4
   Color Me Irresistible SDSP 2-1/4 x 5-1/4
   Melon Mambo Strip 5-1/4 x 1/8

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Pecan Pie

Watercolor Pencils:
   Crushed Curry (Assortment 2)
   Daffodil Delight
   Melon Mambo
   Pumpkin Pie
   Real Red

Technique:
   Blending Brush
   Coloring - Watercolor
   Fussy Cutting

Accessories:
   Blending Brush
   Blender Pen
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped, colored, and fussy cut the young female image.  I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and used watercolor pencils to color her. I then went over the image with a blender pen to blend the color and remove any harsh lines. Lastly, I fussy cut around her and set her aside.

I then took the panel of Color Me Irresistible Specialty DSP and added Pecan Pie ink, using a blending brush. This specialty paper has an embossed-resist wooden pattern to it. So, after adding color, I wiped it down with a paper towel and removed the ink from the embossed lines.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Basic White panel aligning the left edge as well as the top and bottom.

I then added the Masterfully Made DSP panel on the right side, aligning the right edge along with the top and bottom.

Next, I added the 1/8" strip of Melon Mambo on top of the seam to conceal it.

I then adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Pumpkin Pie card front.

Next, I attached the young female image on the left side of the card, using dimensionals.

I then stamped a sentiment on the strip of Basic White, and adhered it below the image, but aligning the left edge with the edge of the embossed panel.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Christmas Wreath

Christmas is the time of year when EVERYONE decorates. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Merry Minis

Paper:
   Real Red A-2
   Myths & Magic 6x6 Glimmer 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 4" Sq., 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Garden Green
   Real Red
   Soft Sea Foam

   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Deckled Circles Dies
   Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments
Very Vanilla & Copper Ribbon 6"
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the wreath, using the Deckled Circles Dies. You can make your wreath any size you like. I used the 3-3/4" circle for the outer rim and the 1-1/2" circle in the center.

I then brushed the wreath with Soft Sea Foam and stamped images, using the Merry Minis stamps.

Next, I attached the wreath onto the glimmer paper, using dimensionals.

I then adhered the ribbon with the sentiment clearly in the center. I wrapped the ribbon around to the back and secured it with glue dots. You can use any adhesive you like. I also use glue dots on the back of the ribbon to keep it secured onto the glimmer paper.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Real Red card front.

I then added the boxwood wreath, using glue dots.

The red bow was gifted to me by a fellow stamper, so I don't have any info on it. I adhered it onto the top center of the wreath, using a glue dot.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Heartfelt Prayers

I like to use vellum on my cards. I think it elevates my card to a new level. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Botanical Layers
   So Sincere

Paper:
   Tangerine Tango A-2
   Mossy Meadow 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Lovely Layers Vellum 3-3/4 x 5

Ink:
   Mossy Meadow
   Lost Lagoon
   Daffodil Delight
   Tangerine Tango

Technique:
   Blending Brush/Sponging
   Stamping on Vellum

Accessories:
   Brights Enamel Shapes
   Blending Brushes/Sponges
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I blended the background colors onto a Basic White panel. I began with the Daffodil Delight in the center. I then added the Lost Lagoon on the top and Tangerine Tango on the bottom.

I then adhered the panel onto a Mossy Meadow matte and then onto the Tangerine Tango card front.

Next, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the Lovely Layers Vellum sheet. I used Mossy Meadow ink. Remember to allow a bit of time for the ink to dry on the vellum before you handle it.

The Lovely Layers Vellum pack consisted of blank vellum sheets as well as a few printed ones. I think this one is a pre-printed one, so all I had to add was the sentiment. All of the images are found on the Botanical Layers stamp set, so you can duplicate them.

Once, the vellum was dry, I adhered it onto the card front, using glue dots behind the images to hide them.

Lastly, I added a couple of enamel shapes and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
