Not Today

Stamps, Ink, Paper, plus an Embellishment or Two equals a beautiful card. What do you think? 




Stamps:

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Glossy Dots Assortment
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment on the top-right portion of the Mixed Media Florals DSP panel. 

I then adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Daffodil Delight card front.

Next, I added a few glossy dots to the card front to help it sparkle a bit.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Oops

I do like to go through my stash of discontinued items. They may not be trendy today, but they are still beautiful. Thoughts? 





Stamps:

   2019-2021 In-Color DSP 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
   Delightfully Eclectic DSP 2 x 2-1/4 (3 Different pieces)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Paper Pumpkin Tag (Leftover)

Ink:
   Night of Navy

Technique:
   CAS
   Punching

Accessories:
   To the Point Punch
   Rhinestone Circle Brads - Different Ones
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I punched three different DSP pieces from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP pack, using To the Point Punch.

I then adhered the three pieces to the large In-Color DSP panel, as shown above.

Next, I attached six rhinestone brads to the DSP panel, as shown above. I chose two yellow, two blue, and two red. 

I then used glue dots on the back of the panel and attached it to the Bubble Bath card front.

Next, I stamped the sentiment on a leftover Paper Pumpkin tag, using Night of Navy ink, and adhered it to the top portion of the card front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Irresistible Dream

Beautiful paper does not need much to dress it. Here, I just added a few sequins and words. Thoughts?

   Hello, Irresistible DSPS 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5 1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Paper Pumpkin Leftover Tag 1-1/4 x 3-1/2

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Leftover Paper Pumpkin Tag
   Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Hello, Irresistible DSPS panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto the Petal Pink card front.

I then stamped the sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a leftover Paper Pumpkin tag. If you don't have one, you can create one, using a 1-1/4 x 3-1/2 Basic White piece. Cut the ends as shown above or use some decorative snips. 

Next, I adhered the tag to the upper part of the card front.

Lastly, I added a few sequins to the card front, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Mixed Up

I like the hint of colors on the various floral images. I use this same coloring technique on my cards quite often. Thoughts?

   Butterfly Gems
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment on the top portion of the Mixed Media Florals DSP panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto the Calypso Coral card front.

Next, I added a few Butterfly Gems to the card front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Hush

So, if a tree falls in a forest, and no one is there to hear it, did it make a sound? Listen. Thoughts?

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Brights Enamel Shapes
   Dimensionals

First, I adhered the Beauty of the Earth DSP panel onto the Early Espresso card front.

I then took the Myths & Magic Glimmer paper and tore one of the edges toward me.

Next, I adhered the glimmer paper to the right side of the DSP panel as shown above.

I then stamped the sentiment in the center of the Cinnamon Cider square, using Mossy Meadow ink.

Next, I attached the sentiment to the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a few Brights Enamel Shapes to the sentiment and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

   Share What You Love Kit (Tag & Clip)

First, I stamped the sentiment on a leftover tag, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I listed the measurements in case you need to create your own tag.

I then cut various scraps of DSP to the sizes listed above. They begin with the top-left and then move across and down. I arranged the pieces on the Basic Black panel as shown above. 

Next, I adhered all of the pieces of DSP in place.

I then adhered the Basic Black panel onto a Pear Pizzazz card front.

Next, I attached the sentiment to the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of paper clips to the sentiment and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Hold On

Watercolor Pencils & Copic Markers:
   E00

Technique:
   Tearing
   Coloring
   CAS

Accessories:
   Blender Pen
   Adhesive

First, I took the Myths & Magic Glimmer paper and tore the right edge, by pulling it toward me. 

I then adhered it to the Basic White panel, aligning the top, bottom, and left edges. 

Next, I stamped the image and the sentiment on the right side of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then colored the image, using watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I used Copic E00 for the skin. 

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Bermuda Bay card front.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

   Brights Candy Dots
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels

First, I stamped the sentiment on the Pumpkin Pie square.

I then die cut it, using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Next, I adhered the Metallic & Shimmer Specialty paper onto the Cajun Craze card front.

I then adhered the sentiment to the card front. You can use dimensionals, but I chose to use liquid adhesive.

Lastly, I added a few Candy Dots and Rhinestones around the sentiment, and I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
