Thank You World

This is a gorgeous rose. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Wonderful World
   Blossoms in Bloom

Paper:
   Pretty in Pink A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Wonderful World DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 3 x 2-1/2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Pink Pirouette 2-1/2 x 3/4, Scrap

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   VersaMark

Chalks:
   Stampin' Pastels

Technique:
   Poppin' Pastels
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Fabulous Frames Dies
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Sponge Daubers
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I followed the Poppin' Pastels Tutorial found on Split Coast Stampers. I also sponged the oval frame with the same Pink Pastel Chalk.

I then adhered the Wonderful World DSP panel onto the Basic Black Matte and then onto the Pretty in Pink card front.

Next, I stamped and die cut the sentiment.

I then adhered the floral image and its frame to the card front, using liquid adhesive.

Next, I added the sentiment below it with a few dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of rhinestones and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Chalky Pastels

Use your chalks when you want a hint of color. If you decide you want a more vibrant tone, just add a drop of water. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Purple Posy A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   None

Chalks:
   Stampin' Pastels

Technique:
   Punching
   Brushing/Sponging
   Dry Embossing

Accessories:
   Lovely Floral 3D Embossing Folder
   Corner Rounder Punch
   Blending Brushes/Sponges
   Butterfly Gems
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I embossed a Basic White panel, using the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.

I then gathered several sizes of Blending Brushes (use what you have on hand) and my Stampin' Pastels.

Next, I brushed the colors onto the raised portions of the embossed image. I blew away the extra chalk powder that did not stick to the panel. I did not care if the chalk colored outside the embossed image.

Once, I was satisfied with my image, I rounded each of the corners, using the Corner Rounder Punch.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Purple Posy card front.

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones, butterfly gems, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I try my best to keep it short and sweet. Contact Me if you have questions or need anything Stampin' Up!

Floral Birthday

There are so many ways to apply chalks to your cards. I like to use a dry watercolor brush to apply the chalk and then moisten it with a blender pen to enrich the color. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Framed Florets

Paper:
   Pixie Pink A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Chalks:
   Stampin' Pastels (Personal Preference)

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Blender Pen
   Watercolor Brush
   Clear Wink of Stella Brush
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my sentiment in the center of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then stamped the florals on each corner, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I applied the chalks (Pink, Yellow, Green) to the images.

I then went over them with a Blender Pen to bring out the color. Make sure to clean the brush on a paper towel between colors.

Next, I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black matte and then onto the Pixie Pink card front.

I then I added a bit of glitter to the center of each flower, using the Clear Wink of Stella brush.

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
