   Paisleys & Posies

Paper:
   Sweet Sugarplum A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), Scraps
   Aluminum Foil 6 x 5

Ink:
   Berry Burst
   Melon Mambo
   Sweet Sugarplum

Technique:
   Aluminum Foil
   Dry Embossing
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Spring Flowers Embossing Folder
   Paisley Framelits Dies
   Triple Banner Punch
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Basic Pearl Jewels

   Sponge
   Dimensionals
   Fast Fuse

First, I wrapped aluminum foil around a Basic White panel and dry embossed it, using the Spring Flowers Embossing Folder.

I then adhered it to the Sweet Sugarplum card front.

Next, I stamped and die cut paisleys and posies.

I then stamped, punched, and sponged the sentiment.

Next, I arranged all the pieces on the card front and attached them all, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of pearls, rhinestone, clear faceted gem, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Foiled Flowers

Can you believe that you can create an amazing background using foil paper right out of your pantry? I could not believe it until I actually did it. What do you think of this embossed foil background?

Stamps:
   Rose Wonder

Paper:
   Basic Black A-2
   Real Red 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Red Foil 2" Sq. (3)
   Foil 5-1/2 x 4-1/4

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Dry Embossing

Accessories:
   Spring Flowers Embossing Folder
   Rose Garden Thinlits Dies
   Simple Flower Embossilits
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I covered a Whisper White panel in foil paper. You do not need to glue it down and the back of it does not need to be pretty. Do not pull the foil too tightly, so it does not tear during the embossing.

I then placed this panel into my Spring Flowers Embossing Folder and ran it through my embossing machine.

I then adhered this panel onto the Real Red panel and then onto the Basic Black card front.

Next, I ran each of the red foil squares through the embossing machine using the Simple Flower Embossilits. You do have to do these individually, since the embossilit die cuts and embosses the image.

I stamped and die cut my sentiment, using the Rose Wonder stamp set and the Rose Garden Thinlits Die. This was adhered using my liquid adhesive, but you can prop it up using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added some basic pearl jewels and adhered the other Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
