Musical Cats

The cat punch yields a perfect cat silhouette. So, all you need is quality cardstock. I used some Stampin' Up! Basic Black and Basic Gray for mine. What do you think? 

Stamps:

   Tag Time

Paper:

   Basic White 6 x 7 scored @ 3-1/2, 1-3/4" Sq.

   Basic Black 2-1/4 x 2

   Basic Gray 2-1/4 x 2

   Merry Music DSP 3" Sq.

   Gold Glimmer Paper 2" Sq.

Ink:

   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:

   Punching

Accessories:

   Cat Punch

   1-1/2" Circle Punch

   1-3/4" Circle Punch

   Glue Dots

   Adhesive

First, I stamped my sentiment on the Basic White square and punched it out, using the 1-1/2" Circle Punch.

I then punched out a 1-3/4" Circle from the Gold Glimmer Paper.

I adhered the Basic White circle onto the Gold Glimmer circle, using glue dots.

Next, I punched out a Basic Black cat and a Basic Gray cat. 

I then adhered the DSP panel onto the Basic White card front.

I added the black cat on the left of the DSP, leaving the tail without adhesive. 

Next, I added adhesive to the gray cat, leaving the tail without adhesive, and added him to the right side of the DSP. I intertwined the tails.

Lastly, I added the sentiment to the top center of the card. 

This card will fit in a regular size envelope.

Best Witches

Here is a blast from the past. Everything is discontinued with the exception of the colors. It seems that I just buy a stamp set, and it is being discontinued or replaced by something else. The thing is that I only buy what I really like. So, you will continue to see many things that are discontinued mixed in with current items. How do you feel about this? Thoughts?

First, I die cut my tree, bat, and tombstone silhouettes. 

I then stamped and colored an aluminum circle tag. I used my markers to color in the image.

Next, I put the card together. I took a 5-1/4 x 4 Basic Black piece as a matte for the DSP and the elements. 

I adhered the DSP onto the Basic Black panel. I added the silhouettes and the aluminum tag. The tag was attached using glue dots, and the tree silhouette was adhered using a fine tip glue pen. This kept the branches on the DSP.

I then adhered the panel onto the card front and added the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Baby Grand

 Say thank you with a baby grand piano! Of course, it must be done in your classic black and white colors. Thoughts?

Stamps:

   Tag Time

   Piano Keys (Stampabilities)

Paper:

   Basic Black 6 x 7 score @ 3-1/2

   Whisper White 5-3/4 x 3-1/4, Scraps

Ink:

   Metallic Silver

   VersaMark

Technique:

   Heat Embossing

Accessories:

   Black Embossing Powder

   Silver Glitter Washi Tape

   Adhesive

First, I stamped my keyboard with VersaMark, applied Black Embossing Powder and heat embossed it.

I made a template for the piano shape out of acetate. I traced it and cut it with my scissors. You can also just draw the curves on the top right of the black card base, cut it off and then use that piece as the template.

I adhered the piano keys to the bottom of the card front.

Then I added a strip of silver glitter washi tape right above the keys.

Next, I stamped my thank you note using Metallic Silver ink.

Lastly, I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

This size of card fits into a regular size envelope.

Tango's Notes

Thank you notes never go out of style. Here is one that is in the classic black and white colors and will fit a regular letter size envelope. This one is also a Christmas theme card.

So often we are so busy exchanging gifts during Christmas and verbally thanking those who are so generous that we forget to follow up with a written thank you note. Of course, there is always the procrastinator who says, "I'll do it later." Then it is just too late to send it. Aye.

Masculine thank you notes are hard to find. Usually, all it has is a big thank you on the front. I thought this one added a little something extra.
