Falling Leaves

I like the detail on these leaf stamps. I also like the look of some of them half stamping on the card. Using the white embossing powder also highlights this feature. What do you think?

Stamps:
   French Foliage
   Banners For You

Paper:
   Cajun Craze A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), Scrap

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Cajun Craze
   Whisper White Craft

Technique:
   Heat Embossing
   Die Cutting
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies
   Sponge
   White Embossing Powder
   Dimensionals
   Brads
   Adhesive

First, I randomly stamped various leaves on the card front, using Whisper White Craft ink.

I then quickly applied White embossing powder, heat set it, and placed it aside to cool.

Meanwhile, I took a scrap of Basic White and stamped a sentiment and banner from the Banners For You stamp set.

I then die cut it and sponged the edges, using Cajun Craze. I attached it to the center of the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of brads on each end of the banner and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Two Congrats

Banners are perfect for a card front. I do like Clean And Simple (CAS) cards. This embossed-resist background is lovely behind the banner. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Banners for You

Paper:
   Pear Pizzazz A-2
   Irresistibly Yours DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Whisper White 4 x 2-1/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Berry Burst
   So Saffron
   Pear Pizzazz

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Brayer

Accessories:
   Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies
   Sponge Brayer
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I used my sponge brayer to apply ink to the embossed-resist DSP. I then used a paper towel to wipe off the excess from the embossed flowers.

I then stamped and die cut my banner. I attached it using dimensionals.

Lastly, I adhered this panel to the card front and adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

You can easily add embellishments of your choice to the card front. Ribbon or twine will also work well. Obviously, you can change the sentiment to suit your current need.

Colorful Congrats 6x6#7&8

Congrats! You Did It! Amazing! High Praises should be given loudly and with a colorful flair. I made two of these cards using Layout #4:

I cut 1/2 inch off of the bottom of the sheet and then cut the remainder in half. I took the 3 x 5-1/2 inch panel and placed it in the middle of a card base. I added a sentiment in the middle and called it a day. The 1/2 inch strip is used on the next card. Remember I made two identical cards. You may choose to change the sentiment on one of them, thus making two different cards. Here is my card:

Stamps:
   Banners for You

Paper:
   Sweet Sugarplum A-2
   Playful Palette DSP 5-1/2 x 3
   Very Vanilla 1-1/4 x 3-1/2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies
   Black Rhinestone Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

I added the sentiment using dimensionals. You can change the sentiment to suit your needs.

A video showing all 30 cards can be seen at Merla's No Left-Over DSP Layouts.
