The Deep

I decided to show-off the five new in-colors on this card, along with one of last year's in-colors, plus an oldie, but goodie: Old Olive. I think they all look fantastic together. Thoughts?

The Deep

Stamps:
   Beauty of the Deep
   Happy Labels

Paper:
   Moody Mauve A-2
   Starry Sky 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Boho Blue 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Wild Wheat 3-3/4 x 3-1/2
   Old Olive 4-1/4 x 1-1/2
   Copper Clay 1-3/4 x 2

Ink:
   Boho Blue
   Copper Clay
   Moody Mauve
   Old Olive
   Pebbled Path
   Starry Sky
   Wild Wheat

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Beauty of the Deep Dies
   2023-2025 In-Color Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the 3 images that needed to be die cut. I used the same ink onto its cardstock: Wild Wheat ink onto Wild Wheat cardstock, Copper Clay onto Copper Clay, and Old Olive onto Old Olive.

I then loosely arranged them onto the Boho Blue panel.

Next, I stamped my sentiment using Starry Sky. You want to do this so that you will not accidentally cover it up with something.

I then added sand pebbles under the plants and anchor, using Pebbled Path ink.

I stamped a few Boho Blue fish and a couple of Copper Clay urchins.

Next, I adhered the tall plant and anchor using my liquid adhesive. The large Wild Wheat plant was adhered using dimensionals.

I then adhered the Boho Blue panel onto the Starry Sky panel and then onto the Moody Mauve card front.

Lastly, I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card and added an In-Color Dot to the card front.

Here is the same card with a vertical orientation:

Thanks Evergreen

Another Clean And Simple (CAS) card where all of the credit goes to the Designer Series Paper (DSP)! Stamp a sentiment, add a die cut, and you have yourself a fabulous card. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Artistically Inked

Paper:
   Evening Evergreen A-2
   Expressions in Ink DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic Black 4" Sq.

Ink:
   Evening Evergreen

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Artistic Dies
   2021 - 2023 In-Color Jewels
   Fine Tip Glue Pen
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the flowers using the Artistic Dies and a four inch square of Basic Black. I should have cut it using an adhesive sheet to make it easier to adhere. Still, I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere it to the DSP panel.

I then stamped the sentiment on the top blank space of the DSP.

I added a few In-Color Jewels and adhered the DSP panel to the Evening Evergreen card base.

Lastly, I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Burst of In-Colors

Colors bring happy to the world. Every year Stampin' Up! introduces 5 new colors that will stick around for 2 years. I decided to document the colors for the year 2016 by stamping with each color and including a piece of cardstock. I do like this design and idea. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Sunburst Sayings
   Gorgeous Grunge

Paper:
   Basic Black A-2
   Whisper White 5 x 6-1/2, 5-1/4 x 4
   Gold Glimmer 5 x 6-1/2
   Peekaboo Peach 1-1/4" Circle
   Flirty Flamingo 1-3/8" Circle
   Sweet Sugarplum 1-1/2" Circle
   Emerald Envy 1-3/4" Circle

Ink:
   Dapper Denim
   Emerald Envy
   Flirty Flamingo
   Peekaboo Peach
   Sweet Sugarplum

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Punching

Accessories:
   Sunburst Thinlits Dies
   1-1/4" Circle Punch
   1-3/8" Circle Punch
   1-1/2" Circle Punch
   1-3/4" Circle Punch
   Dimensionals
   Paper Snips
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the sunburst in Whisper White and Gold Glimmer.

Next, I stamped each ray with a color: 2 colors are stamped 3 times, and 3 colors are stamped 2 times = 12 rays. I used a stamp from Gorgeous Grunge for this.

I punched a circle from 4 of the colors and stamped the sentiment using Dapper Denim. The colors are listed in order under the paper heading. They are adhered together using liquid glue.

I used liquid glue on the back of the rays to attach them to the Basic Black card base. First the Gold Glimmer paper, then the stamped Whisper White. I then trimmed the rays down to size.

The center is attached using dimensionals. The 5-1/4 x 4" Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.
