Christmas Gift Card

Gift cards are the gift of choice today. Here is a gift card holder I made that is quick and easy.

Stamps:
   A Christmas Punch

Paper:
   Dashing DSP 6 x 8
   Very Vanilla Scrap

Ink:
   Real Red

Technique:
   Double Pocket Gift Card Holder

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Scallop Oval Punch
   Bone Folder
   Adhesive
   Ruler

Of course, I did not come up with this idea on my own. I followed the instructions by Jan Farring. I must admit, I cannot do a better job of explaining this than she can, so here is where you can find her instructions, photos, and exactly what I followed to make mine. Click on: Jan Farring's Double Pocket Gift Card Holder.

It's all a matter of scoring and folding the paper correctly. Be sure to use the bone folder for a crisp fold and adhere the seams.

Blue Skies

Stampin' Up! employs excellent artists that take your breath away with their art and creative designs. These works inspire us to create and share our ideas with others. With this card front, all I did was stamp the sentiment and add a few embellishments. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Go To Greetings

Paper:
   Azure Afternoon A-2
   Early Espresso 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Fresh as a Daisy DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Early Espresso

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment in the clouds of the DSP panel.

I then added a few adhesive-backed solid gems to highlight the sentiment.

Next, I adhered the panel onto an Early Espresso matte and then onto an Azure Afternoon card-front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Polka dots will never go out of fashion. Whether you are showing them on a card front, wearing them on a beautiful summer day, or just playing around and connecting them, they will always look great and continue to be trendy. What do you think?

   Itty Bitty Greetings

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, Scraps, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Cerise DSP 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Rich Razzleberry

   1-1/4" Circle Punch
   Clear Faceted Gems
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Dotted Scalloped Black Ribbon 4"
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped and punched out the daisy. I adhered the two sections together, using glue dots.

I then stamped and punched out the sentiment. I sponged around it, using Rich Razzleberry ink.

Next, I adhered the ribbon across the bottom of the DSP panel.

I then adhered the DSP panel to the Very Vanilla card front.

I attached the daisy and the sentiment with dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a faceted gem to the daisy, a couple of rhinestones to the sentiment, and adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

Wild Daisies

I think the shading behind the daisies really brings the card front to life. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Go To Greetings

Paper:
   Wild Wheat A-2
   Early Espresso 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Fresh as a Daisy DSP 5-1/4 x 3-3/4

   Early Espresso

Technique:
   Punching
   CAS

Accessories:
   2023-2025 In-Color Dots
   Happy Labels Pick a Punch
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped and punched out my sentiment, using Early Espresso and the Happy Labels Pick a Punch. Note that this is the only stamping on this card. The rest, is cutting paper and adhering it all together. Easy Peasy!

Next, I adhered the Fresh as a Daisy DSP panel onto an Early Espresso matte and then onto the Wild Wheat card-front.

I then attached the sentiment to the lower right corner of the card, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of In-Color Dots and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Bokeh Rock Star

Everyone needs a good pat on the back sometimes. So, send a card to that person who needs to be reminded. What do you think of this one?

Stamps:
   Be the Star

Paper:
   Basic White A-2, 5 x 3-3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Basic Black 5-1/4 x 4, Scraps

Ink:
   Pool Party
   Bermuda Bay
   Island Indigo
   Whisper White Craft

Technique:
   Bokeh
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Sponge
   Stars Framelits Dies
   White Embossing Powder
   Embossing Buddy
   Dimensionals
   Mask using 1-3/4, 1-1/4, 1" Circle Punch
   Sponge Dauber

First, I sponged the Basic White panel using Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Island Indigo.

I then created a mask and laid it on top of my sponged panel. Using a sponge dauber, I added Whisper White craft ink in each of the circles. You want to make sure your mask does not move around.

Next, I took Basic Black scraps and die cut stars. I then patted them down with an embossing buddy.

Using Whisper White craft ink, I carefully stamped them, added white embossing powder and heat set them. Once, they cooled I attached them to the card front with dimensionals.

Lastly, I adhered the panel to a Basic Black matte and then onto the Basic White card front. I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Butterfly Thoughts

I paired up some discontinued designer series paper with a new designer series paper. Even when you mix the old with the new, the colors are still exact matches. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Ginkgo Branch

Paper:
   Balmy Blue A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 1/8 x 5-1/4
   Dandy Designs DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Botanical Butterfly DSP 2 x 5-1/4
   Highland Heather 3/4 x 3
   Gold Foil Paper Scrap
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Ginkgo Branch Dies
   Cross of Hope Framelits
   2017-2019 Bitty Bows
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped and die cut the sentiment from the Ginkgo Branch stamp and die set. I used Tuxedo Black Memento, and then set it aside.

I grabbed a gold cross from my stash of pre-cut images. If you don't have one made, then grab a scrap of gold foil and use the die from the Cross of Hope Framelits. I keep the gold frame from it to use later on another card.

Next, I adhered the Botanical Butterfly DSP panel onto the left side of the Dandy Designs DSP. I then added a strip of Basic Black to hide the seam.

I then matted the panel with Basic Black and adhered it to the Balmy Blue card front.

I added the sentiment with dimensionals and snipped off the end on the right. I then adhered the gold cross and a Bitty Bow.

Lastly, I added a few pearls and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Thank you kindly for stopping by here. Contact Me if I can be of service.

Only Thanks

I like the look and feel of this color combination. I was somewhat skeptical of seeing these two together, but now I see how they work nicely together. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Biggest Wish

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

   Die Cutting
   CAS

Accessories:
   Grove Dies
   Black Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the Grove silhouette in Ballet Blue, using the Grove Dies.

I then adhered it to the center of the Only Orange panel, then onto the Basic Black matte, and then onto the Ballet Blue card front.
