Sticky Manger

I made this Christmas card, using the "free" stickers that come in the mail as an added bonus. I can't remember when or from what organization these were sent, but I think they work on this card front. What do you think?

Stamps:
   More Merry Messages

Paper:
   Basic White A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Markers:
   Island Indigo
   Crushed Curry
   Soft Suede

Technique:
   Acrylic (Clear) Block Background

Accessories:
   Stickers
   Adhesive

First, I colored my clear block with my markers: Island Indigo at the top, Crushed Curry in the middle, and Soft Suede at the bottom.

I then misted the block with water and stamped it on the Basic White card front.

Once the panel was dry (just a minute or so), I added the stickers, creating the card front.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment at the top and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Heart & Soul, Too

I found that acrylic paint dries rather quickly. So, you have to work fast. I was glad to get a few brush strokes on paper. What do you think?

Heart & Soul

Stamps:
   Good Feelings

Paper:
   Tempting Turquoise A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Mixed Media 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Acrylic Paint:
   Bright Yellow
   Turquoise
   Purple

Technique:
   Acrylic Paint

Accessories:
   Brights Enamel Shapes
   Stamparatus/MISTI/Stamp-a-ma-jig
   Adhesive
   Brush

First, I brushed on some Bright Yellow acrylic paint over the top of the card.

I then brushed some Purple underneath it, leaving the natural white space that was not covered by the paint.

Next, I added a line of Turquoise and then finished the front with a bit more of the Bright Yellow.

I then set my panel inside my Stamparatus and stamped it, using the Good Feelings stamp set and a bit of Tuxedo Black Memento. I decided to use the Stamparatus in case I needed to stamp the words more than once.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Tempting Turquoise card front.

Lastly, I added some Brights Enamel Shapes and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Since, I painted two panels at the same time, here is the other card, using another stamp from the set:

Heart & Soul Too

Mixed Messages

Who knew I could be successful at creating a mixed media card? Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Postage Collection
   Postage Due

Paper:
   Wild Wheat A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   2019-2021 In-Color DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Stamped Bubble Wrap Scrap 2 x 5-1/4
   Hand-Stamped Washi Tape Scrap 3-1/2 x 3/4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Wild Wheat
   Copper Clay
   Various Colors on Washi Tape

Technique:
   Mixed Media Collage

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Bird Sticker
   Corduroy Button Brad
   Flower Brads
   Adhesive

First, I searched my scrap pile for leftover useable bits. I found a bit of my hand-stamped washi tape and a piece of bubble wrap stamping.

I then checked out my stash of stickers. I found a beautiful one that was gifted to me by my daughter-in-law. Yeah!

Next, I played with the pieces on the DSP and adhered the Bubble Wrap scrap on the left edge.

I then adhered the bit of Washi Tape at an angle on the bottom of the DSP.

Next, I attached the sticker to the top right corner of the panel.

I then adhered the DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte to make it a bit sturdier.

Next, I added the Corduroy Button Brad and the two small flower brads.

I then adhered the panel to the Wild Wheat card front.

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Pretty Bird

I made a card for a mixed media challenge. Mixed Media means that various mediums must be used on your card. For example, watercolor, stamping, stickers, jewels, etc. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Charming Sentiments

Paper:
   River Rock A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Watercolor 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White Scraps, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Soft Sky
   Almost Amethyst
   River Rock
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Wild Wheat
   Copper Clay

Technique:
   Watercolor
   Bubble Wrap Stamping
   Mixed Media

Accessories
   Butterfly Gems
   Sticker
   Adhesive

First, I watercolored the background panel. I used Soft Sky, Almost Amethyst, and River Rock on a Basic White Panel. I then dropped water drops to make the panel a bit splotchy.

Once the panel dried, I stamped the sentiment across the top of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento.

Next, I adhered a bit of Bubble Wrap stamping that was left-over from a previous card. To make your own, grab a bit of bubble wrap, ink it, and gently stamp on cardstock. I attached mine to the bottom left corner of the Basic White panel.

I then added a bird sticker that I had in my stash.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto a River Rock card front.

Lastly, I added a few Butterfly Gems and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Spread Your Wings

I used a die cut as a stencil to create a butterfly on my card front. It's great to celebrate with fun, bright colors. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Perfectly Penned

Paper:
   Melon Mambo A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black

Markers:
   Elegant Eggplant
   Sweet Sugarplum
   Tempting Turquoise
   Daffodil Delight
   Pumpkin Pie
   Watermelon Wonder
   Melon Mambo
   Rose Red

Technique:
   Stencilling with Mixed Media

Accessories:
   Butterflies Thinlits Dies
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I die cut my stencil using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies. I chose this die because it was large and intricate.

I then placed it on my Whisper White panel. I used a bit of washi tape to hold it in place. I then colored in the stencil using various markers.

Next, I stamped my sentiment above the butterfly.

I adhered this panel to the Melon Mambo card front and added rhinestones for the butterfly's body. I also adhered the other Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
