Use your coloring book pages as backgrounds for your cards. Thoughts? 

Stamps:

   For Being You

   Layered Letters Alphabet

Paper:

   Tempting Turquoise A-2

   Tangerine Tango 3-3/4" Sq.

   Daffodil Delight 3-1/2 x 3-7/8

   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:

   Archival Basic Black

Markers:

   Various Copic Markers (Personal Choice)

   Tangerine Tango - Lettering

Technique:

   Coloring

Accessories:

   Sequins from Verve Stamps

   Adhesive

First, I stamped the Daffodil Delight panel, using Archival Basic Black.

I then used the Tangerine Tango marker to color the word, "THANK."

Next, I adhered this panel onto the Tangerine Tango matte.

I adhered the coloring book panel onto the Tempting Turquoise card front, and added the sentiment panel to the center of the card.

Lastly, I added a few sequins and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Red, White, and Blue Thanks

Say Thanks to the troops! Our young men and women fight for us every day to maintain our freedoms. We must never forget to say THANKS! Here is a clean and simple (CAS) card to send to anyone who is serving our great country. There are no embellishments, for the true beauty is in what you write on the inside from your heart. 

Stamps:

   For Being You

Paper:

   Basic White A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:

   Archival Basic Black

Markers:

   Real Red

   Night of Navy

Technique:

   CAS

Accessories:

   Stamp-a-ma-jig

   Adhesive

First, I stamped "Thanks" three times. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig because my stamp was on a wooden block. If you are using a cling stamp set, you can use a Stamparatus or MISTI if needed. I stamped the center one first, and then evenly spaced the other two.

I then colored in the top one, using a Real Red marker, and then the bottom one, using a Night of Navy marker.

Lastly, I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Remember to say THANKS to the veterans as well.

Thanks for Everything

 I like to keep big, bold stamps with common sentiments within reach at all times. They do come in handy when you need a card quickly. This one takes all of five minutes to make, give or take a minute or two. I also like to keep Whisper White panels cut and ready for stamping. What do you do?

Stamps:

   For Being You

Paper:

   Almost Amethyst A-2

   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:

   Pixie Pink

   Lavender Lace

Technique:

   CAS

Accessories:

   Basic Pearl Jewels

   Adhesive

I stamped my sentiment, added a few pearls, and adhered the panel to the card base. The second Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card. 

I chose to keep the color to a minimum. You can choose to color in the sentiment completely or maybe just add some shading to the letters.

Embellishments can also be changed to your liking or left off completely for a more masculine feel to the card.
