Perched

Blender Pens allow me to smooth out all of the watercolor pencil lines. What do you think of this one?

Stamps:
   Perched in a Tree
   Textures & Frames

Paper:
   Daffodil Delight A-2
   Cajun Craze 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Cajun Craze
   Daffodil Delight
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Watercolor Pencils:
   Cajun Craze
   Daffodil Delight
   Balmy Blue
   Early Espresso

Technique:
   Watercolor Pencils/Blender Pens

Accessories:
   Brights Enamel Shapes
   Blender Pen
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the images and the sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then used the various watercolor pencils to color the bird and the branch.

Next, I grabbed a blender pen and smoothed out the watercolor pencil lines. This also blends all of the colors together, depending on your coloring.

I then added some stamped lines, using Cajun Craze, on the two opposite corners of the Basic White panel.

Next, I stamped some speckles, using Daffodil Delight, to add a bit more color and tone down the white background a bit.

I then adhered the panel onto a Cajun Craze matte and then adhered it to the Daffodil Delight card front.

Lastly, I added an Enamel heart Shape to the end of the sentiment and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Delightfully Detailed Collage

Cards are easy to create when you have beautifully designed laser-cut paper panels. Plus, the sentiments can be added as needed. How great is that? Thoughts?

Quiet

I am delighted when all I have to do is stamp a sentiment on a card front and send it off. You can always add more, but I think less is more. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Perched in a Tree

Paper:
   Smoky Slate A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Winter Meadow DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my sentiment on the top of a Winter Meadow DSP panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento.

I then adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto the Smoky Slate card front.

Next, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

You can easily change the sentiment to suit your current need.
