All of the lines on the flowers are actually silver and shine beautifully when you move the card around. It is difficult to see it here as the card is laying on a flat surface, but in real life it comes alive. Thoughts?

Birthday Moments

Birthdays should always be celebrated because you never know when it will be your last one. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Happy Moments
   Birthday Whimsey

Paper:
   Tangelo Twist A-2
   Basic Black 4-1/8 x 5-3/8, 2-1/4" Sq., 3/16 x 5-1/4
   Birthday Bash DSP 4 x 5-1/4
   Basic White 2-1/8" Sq., 4 x 5-1/4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Markers:
   Bermuda Bay
   Calypso Coral
   Crushed Curry
   Night of Navy
   Tangelo Twist

Technique:
   Coloring
   Precise Stamping

Accessories:
   Stamp-a-ma-jig
   Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware
Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
   Blooming Pearls
   Mini Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Birthday Bash DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Tangelo Twist card front.

I then stamped my image and sentiment onto the Basic White square. Both of my stamps are mounted on wooden blocks, so I dusted off my stamp-a-ma-jig and used it to center both on the square.

Next, I colored in my image, using the markers listed above. I chose the colors to match the various pieces of confetti on the DSP.

I then matted the Basic White square with some Basic Black and adhered it onto the top-left corner of the card front.

Next, I adhered a strip of Basic Black to the right side of the card front.

I then took a bit of Bermuda Bay Polka Dot ribbon and threaded it through an Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware. I trimmed off the edges as shown and attached it to the lower-right side of the card front, using glue dots.

Lastly, I added a few pearls to the cake for decoration and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
