Favored Thanks

I curled my ribbon and draped it from one end to the other to create a bit of interest. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Kindest Expressions

Paper:
   Mossy Meadow A-2
   Basic Black 4-1/8 x 5-3/8
   Favored Flowers DSP 4 x 5-1/4
   Fresh Freesia 3-3/4 x 2-1/4
   Basic White 4 x 5-1/4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon 13"
   Textured Notes Dies
   2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I curled the Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon, using a pencil. You can also curl it around your finger or just twist it in one direction to form a circular motion.

I then adhered the ribbon to the top-back of the Favored Flowers DSP panel, using glue dots. Honestly, I played with the ribbon for quite a while, until I achieved a look that I liked.

Next, I adhered the Favored Flowers DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Mossy Meadow card front.

I then stamped and die cut a sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the Textured Notes Dies.

Next, I attached the sentiment to the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds to the sentiment and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Polished Thanks

I hate to cover up beautiful paper. So, when I came across this sketch challenge, I had to grab this beautiful designer series paper pack and display a piece of it on this card front. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Go To Greetings

Paper:
   Polished Pink A-2
   Basic Black 3-3/4 x 3-5/8
   Expressions in Ink DSP 3-1/4 x 2-3/4
   Basic White 4 x 5-1/4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Paper Piecing

Accessories:
   Clear Faceted Gems
   2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds
   Adhesive

First, I cut the Expressions in Ink DSP panel into 3 columns, cutting at the 1-1/16" mark for each one. Remember to measure twice and cut once.

I then took each column and cut 6 rectangles, measuring 7/16 each. Keep these in order and in the right direction. I laid mine out on top of the Basic Black panel.

Next, I took each piece and adhered it onto the Basic Black panel, keeping them as evenly spaced and straight as possible. Liquid adhesive is best because you can still move it for a few seconds before it sets permanently.

I then adhered the Basic Black panel onto the Polished Pink card front.

Next, I stamped my sentiment underneath the image, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Lastly, I added a couple of Clear Faceted Gems to the image, a couple of Opal Rounds to the sentiment, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

First, I adhered the Beautiful Bokeh DSP panel onto the top of the Basic Black matte. Note that the Black matte is slightly larger than the DSP and Granny Apple Green.

I then dry embossed the Granny Apple Green panel, using the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it below the Beautiful Bokeh DSP panel on the Basic Black matte.

Next, I adhered this panel onto the Bubble Bath card front.

I then stamped the sentiment on the top of the 1-3/4 x 3 Basic White piece, using Tuxedo Black ink.

Next, I stamped the butterfly below the sentiment, using Granny Apple Green ink.

I adhered this piece onto the top and slightly to the left portion of the card front.

Dress up your card with die cuts. They can create dimension, interest, and texture to your creation. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Friends are like Seashells

Paper:
   Seaside Spray A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Sand & Sea DSP 5-1/4 x 4 , 3/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), Scraps

Ink:

   Opal Rounds
   Glittered Sand Dollars & Starfish
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the grasses using Mossy Meadow, and a sand dollar using Sahara Sand.

I then used the Seaside Seashells Dies to cut them.

Next, I cut my DSP panel and strip. I stamped my sentiment on the 3/4 x 4" strip using Tuxedo Black Memento. I adhered it to the bottom of the DSP panel.

I then adhered this panel onto the Basic Black panel and then onto the Seaside Spray card base.

I attached the sand dollar with dimensionals and added the grasses with adhesive.

I found a left-over glittered sand dollar and starfish from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit and decided to attach them to the card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of opal rounds and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
