Mother's Butterflies

Sometimes we try a technique and fail to get the results we expected. Still, each card is made individually and will yield different results each time. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Simple Sketches
   Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
   Real Red A-2
   Blushing Bride 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Calypso Coral
   Rose Red
   Real Red
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Stamping With Bleach

Accessories:
   Bleach
   Paper Towel
   Container/Coated Paper Plate
   Adhesive

First, I followed the tutorial found at Split Coast Stampers (SCS) for Stamping With Bleach. I let the panel dry to see the effect of the bleach on my colored cardstock panel.

I was disappointed to see that the bleached image was not as dominate as I anticipated. Since this stamp set is a two-step stamp set, I stamped over the bleached image, using step two and allowing the bleach effect to still show in the background.

I added a sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and adhered the panel onto the Real Red card front.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
