Floral Celebrations

I enjoy using left-over pieces, scraps, and discontinued or retired items from my stash. It justifies my investment in my craft. I do like using every bit that I can, and my stamps last forever. How large is your craft supply?

Stamps:
   Awesome Otters (It's Birthday Time!)
   Hand-Penned Petals (Congratulations)
   Through It Together (Thank You)

Paper:
   Granny Apple Green A-2
   Flower & Field DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut
   Garden Impressions DSP 3" Sq.
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   None

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
Paper Pumpkin Lift-Overs: Thread & Tag
   Fine Tip Glue Pen
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut square onto the DSP square. I did trim just a bit to even them up when they were adhered together.

I then stamped the sentiment in the center of the thank you card and the congratulations card. I stamped a tag and attached it using glue dots on the birthday card.

I then adhered the square piece onto the center of the Flower & Field DSP panel. I then adhered it onto the card front.

Lastly, I added a bow, rhinestones, and a white panel to the inside of the card.

Here is a closer look at each card:

Hand-Penned Congratulatory Thanks

Take a SIP (Stamps, Ink, Paper) and add a bit of ribbon. This is still a Clean and Simple (CAS) card. What do you think?

Hand-Penned Congratulatory Thanks

Stamps:
   Hand-Penned Petals

Paper:
   Cinnamon Cider A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Cinnamon Cider
   Garden Green
   Highland Heather
   Mint Macaron
   Pool Party
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping
   CAS

Accessories:
   Genial Gems
   3/8" Stitched Wild Wasabi Ribbon - 10"
   Fast Fuse
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my images using Tuxedo Black Memento.

Next, I added color. This is the second step in stamping. I used Highland Heather on the large flowers. Pool Party was used on the smaller flower with the gems on them. I then added Mint Macaron on the leaves and Garden Green for the sentiment. Lastly, I added Cinnamon Cider on the dandelions.

I then tied a knot in the center of a ribbon and added it to the top part of the panel. I adhered it onto the back using a bit of fast fuse.

Lastly, I adhered the stamped panel to the card front, the basic white panel to the inside of the card, and added a couple of genial gems.

Here is another card with a different sentiment.

Thanks Petals

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) does all of the work on this card. You can easily change the sentiment to whatever you desire or need. The magnolias will give your sentiment its pizzazz. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Hand-Penned Petals

Paper:
   Petal Pink A-2
   Magnolia Lane DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 2-1/2 x 1-1/2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Mossy Meadow

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   5" White Glitter Ribbon
   Tasteful Labels Dies
   Petal Pink Flower
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Glue Dots
   Fast Fuse
   Adhesive

First, I wrapped the white glitter ribbon across the center of the DSP. I used Fast Fuse to hold the ends of the ribbon on the back.

Next, I adhered the DSP to the Petal Pink card front. I used liquid adhesive for this step, but any adhesive will work.

I stamped and die cut my sentiment and adhered it over the ribbon in the center of the card. This is where I used glue dots.

Lastly, I added the Petal Pink flower, some rhinestones, and adhered the white panel to the inside of the card.

Thank you so very much for being here. I appreciate you taking the time to glance at my work. Please Contact Me if I can be of service.

Butterfly Silhouette

At first glance, I think this silhouette is difficult to decipher, partly because the image is not completely closed. So, I decided to add some rhinestones in place of the butterfly's body. What do you think? Did it work?

Stamps:
   Amazing Silhouettes
   Hand-Penned Petals

Paper:
   Misty Moonlight A-2
   Bermuda Bay 5-1/4 x 4
   Butterfly Bijou DSP 5 x 3-3/4
   Basic White 3-1/4 x 4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Bermuda Bay
   Mint Macaron
   Misty Moonlight

Technique:
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Sponge
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the butterfly silhouettes using Bermuda Bay, Misty Moonlight, and Mint Macaron.

I then stamped my sentiment in Misty Moonlight.

I sponged the edges using Mint Macaron.

I then adhered this stamped panel onto the Butterfly Bijou DSP panel.

I then adhered this panel onto the Bermuda Bay and then onto the Misty Moonlight card front.

Lastly, I adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card and added rhinestones to the card front.
