Glimmery Garden

Here is a fun way to use the leftover strips of designer series paper. I matted each strip to make it sturdier. I also chose to use a strip of glimmer paper between them to add a bit of pizzazz. What do you think?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Cloud Cover A-2
   Misty Moonlight 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 4 x 7/8 (3)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Peaceful Garden DSP 4 x 3/4 (3)
   Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper 4 x 7/8 (2)

Ink:
   None

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Hues of Blue Flowers
   Adhesive

First, I matted each of the three designer series paper strips with a Misty Moonlight strip.

I then arranged the three matted DSP strips along with the two strips of glimmer paper on a Basic White panel.

Next, I adhered all five strips onto the panel.

I then matted this panel with a Misty Moonlight panel and then adhered it onto a Cloud Cover card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of embellishments, Hues of Blue Flowers, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Simple Birthday

This is a nice layout to use some of your smaller leftover designer series paper pieces. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Simply Said

Paper:
   Petunia Pop A-2
   Basic Black 3-5/8 x 3-3/4
   2024-2026 In-Color Glimmer Specialty Paper 1-3/4 x 3-1/4
   2024-2026 In-Color DSP 1-5/8 x 2-3/4
Paper Pumpkin Tag (2x1 rounded edges)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Shy Shamrock

Technique:
   CAS
   Punching

Accessories:
   1/8" Handheld Hole Punch
   White Baker's Twine
   Modern Oval Punch
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Basic Black piece to the lower part of the Petunia Pop card front.

I then adhered the glimmer paper at an angle, as shown above.

Next, I added the striped In-Color DSP to the card front, as shown above.

I then took a leftover Paper Pumpkin tag and stamped the sentiment, using Shy Shamrock ink.

I rounded the edges, using the Modern Oval Punch. You have to feed the tag through the bottom of the punch to round each side separately.

Next, I adhered it onto the card front. You can add dimensionals if you wish. I decided to keep it directly onto the other pieces.

I then punched a small hole on the top of the card front, using the 1/8" Handheld Hole Punch. You want to make sure you are punching through only the top panel.

Next, I fed a leftover piece of Baker's Twine from a Paper Pumpkin kit and tied it off with a bow.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Happy Birthday Rounds

Add sparkle to your card with just a bit of glimmer paper. It is easier to apply than glitter. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Round We Go

Paper:
   So Saffron A-2
   2019-2021 In-Color DSP 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 2" Sq.
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
6x6 Glimmer Paper 2" Sq. (Bermuda Bay)

Ink:
   Bermuda Bay
   So Saffron
   Terracotta Tile
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Stamp-Off
   CAS

Accessories:
   Round We Go Dies
   Gold Faceted Gems
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment on a Basic White panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then stamped Bermuda Bay and Terracotta Tile rounds twice before re-inking.

Next, I stamped sparkles between the rounds, using So Saffron ink.

I then die cut two rounds: one from the In-Color DSP (Terracotta Tile), and the other from Glimmer Paper (Bermuda Bay).

Next, I adhered the layers together: the stamped Basic White onto an In-Color DSP panel, and then onto the So Saffron card front.

I then added the die cut rounds above the sentiment.

Lastly, I added a few Gold Faceted Gems to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

First, I grabbed a leftover Paper Pumpkin tag. It was stamped with THANKS in Pool Party ink.

I adhered the Butterfly Bijou DSP panel onto a Turquoise Myths & Magic Glimmer panel.

Next, I added this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then adhered all of these onto a Pool Party card front.

I then added the oval sentiment to the center of the card front, using dimensionals.

Be Mine, Love

I like the movement of the banner on this card. It looks like it is glued down to the card front, but if you stand it up, the banner can swing back and forth. You can easily use this as a traditional Valentine's Day card, or simply to express your love toward that special someone. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   You Plus Me
   Banner Blast
   Post Card

Paper:
   Real Red A-2, Scraps
   Very Vanilla 5-1/4 x 4 (2), Scraps
   Red Glimmer Scraps

Ink:
   Early Espresso
   Real Red

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine 12"
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Hearts Border Punch
   Banner Punch
   Sticky Strip
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the Post Card image onto a Very Vanilla panel, using Early Espresso ink.

I then stamped and punched three banners out of Very Vanilla scraps, using Early Espresso ink and the Banner punch.

Next, I stamped a Real Red heart in the center of each of these three banners.

I then stamped and punched two love banners, using Real Red ink and the Banner punch. I added a rhinestone to the letter O on each one.

Next, I adhered the Post Card Very Vanilla panel onto the Real Red card front.

I then made two tiny bows out of Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Next, I placed the baker's twine across the front of the card as shown above. I placed the banners on the card and on top of the twine to see how it would look. This is the step to make adjustments or changes to the "look of the card."

Once, I was happy, I added a glue dot to the two ends of the twine and adhered it to the two corners of the post card.

I then added a very thin piece of sticky strip to the back of each banner - just enough to hold it in place and on the twine. I attached each banner in place on the twine.

Using a glue dot, I then adhered a bow to each of the ends on the twine.

Next, I stamped a sentiment to the left side of the post card, using Real Red ink.

Lastly, I punched and attached three red glimmer hearts to the bottom of the post card and adhered a Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

Christmas Wreath

Christmas is the time of year when EVERYONE decorates. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Merry Minis

Paper:
   Real Red A-2
   Myths & Magic 6x6 Glimmer 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 4" Sq., 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Garden Green
   Real Red
   Soft Sea Foam

Technique:
   Brushing/Sponging
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Deckled Circles Dies
   Boxwood Wreaths Embellishments
Very Vanilla & Copper Ribbon 6"
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I die cut the wreath, using the Deckled Circles Dies. You can make your wreath any size you like. I used the 3-3/4" circle for the outer rim and the 1-1/2" circle in the center.

I then brushed the wreath with Soft Sea Foam and stamped images, using the Merry Minis stamps.

Next, I attached the wreath onto the glimmer paper, using dimensionals.

I then adhered the ribbon with the sentiment clearly in the center. I wrapped the ribbon around to the back and secured it with glue dots. You can use any adhesive you like. I also use glue dots on the back of the ribbon to keep it secured onto the glimmer paper.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Real Red card front.

I then added the boxwood wreath, using glue dots.

The red bow was gifted to me by a fellow stamper, so I don't have any info on it. I adhered it onto the top center of the wreath, using a glue dot.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

   Basic Black 4 x 2-1/2
   Soft Suede 2 x 3

I then adhered some Gold Glimmer Tape to the bottom of the Very Vanilla card front. This makes up the road or runway for Santa's Sleigh and reindeer.

Next, I adhered the sleigh to the card front and attached the deer, using dimensionals.

I then tied the Gold Baker's Twine from the reindeer to the sleigh.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment to the top center of the card front and adhered a Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.
