Grand Birthday

This DisINKtive stamp set looks fabulous in any color. Still, the bolder, more vibrant hues manage to highlight the distINKtive opacities in the stamped images best. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Delicate Dahlias
   A Grand Kid

Paper:
   Blackberry Bliss A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Blackberry Bliss
   Old Olive

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Gold Faceted Gems
   Adhesive

First, I stamped three dahlias, using Blackberry Bliss ink, on a Basic White panel.

I then stamped the sentiment on the top center of the panel, using the same ink.

Next, I added leaves with Old Olive to fill in the white spaces.

I then adhered the panel to the Blackberry Bliss card front.

Lastly, I added three Gold Faceted Gems to the centers of the dahlias and adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Comforting Hugs

Surround your sentiment with beautiful flowers to create a sincere sympathy card. I chose this beautiful Orchid Opulence hue to bring some light into a sorrowful situation. I also really like to use a bit of green to liven up the card. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Delicate Dahlias
   Kindness & Compassion

Paper:
   Orchid Opulence A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Garden Green
   Orchid Opulence
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Pearl Basic Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my sentiment on the Basic White panel using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then randomly stamped flowers around the sentiment with Orchid Opulence. This is a distINKtive stamp, so it will automatically stamp light and dark in just the right spots to make you look like an artist.

Next, I used Garden Green to stamp a few leaves.

I then adhered the Basic White panel onto a Basic Black panel, and then onto the Orchid Opulence card base.

Lastly, I added a pearl to the center of the flower and adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Filled Delicate Dahlias

I was challenged to take a SIP: Stamps, Ink, and Paper. So, I did. Simplicity in essence should be very simple, but I sometimes find it difficult to stop. For example, I will probably dress this card up more by adding rhinestones or pearls. I might even add a tiny bow. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Delicate Dahlias

Paper:
   Whisper White Note Card

Ink:
   Garden Green
   Highland Heather
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping
   Stamp-Off
   CAS

Accessories:
   None

First, I stamped the dahlias using the solid image only and inking my stamp with Highland Heather. I stamped one dahlia on the lower center of my note card and then added partial images around it.

Next, I added leaves to the dahlias. I stamped the solid leaf image using Garden Green. I did stamp-off on a scrap piece of paper before stamping on my card.

Lastly, I added my sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento.

I think the card is beautiful and finished. Still, I love the sparkle, but since it is a sympathy card, I will more than likely add a pearl or two on the center dahlia only. Thoughts?

Delicate Thanks

If you are in the market for a versatile stamp set, look no further. This Delicate Dahlias stamp set is a distINKtive, 2-step stamp set. I know that is a mouth full, but that just means more versatility. Here, I am displaying the line drawing with the images filled in on a nicely blended background. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Delicate Dahlias

Paper:
   Poppy Parade A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Coastal Cabana
   Granny Apple Green
   Mango Melody
   Poppy Parade
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Sponging/Blending Brush
   CAS

Accessories:
   Blending Brush
   Adhesive

First, I used my blending brush to add Coastal Cabana to my background. You can use a sponge if you do not have a blending brush.

Next, I stamped a couple of Dahlias in Mango Melody. I stamped the line image followed by the filler. This is a distINKtive stamp set, so the saturation is perfect and looks more like a painting. What do you think?

I then added some leaves around the dahlias. I used Granny Apple Green on both the line image and the filler.

I then added a smaller flower to the empty space on the lower left corner. I used Poppy Parade, and added a couple of small leaves using Granny Apple Green.

I used Poppy Parade to add my sentiment.

Lastly, I adhered the layers together and added the other Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
