Dandy Thank You

I enjoy using double-sided designer series paper because both sides always work together. Basically, all you have to do is cut a section of the panel and flip it. You will then have two different designs that will complement or somehow coordinate with each other. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Spotlight On Nature
   Of Art & Texture
   TPC Studio Stamps (Sentiment)

Paper:
   Petal Pink A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Dandy Designs DSP 5-1/4 x 4, 2-3/4 x 2-1/2 (2 pieces - cut into triangles with the 2-3/4" as the base)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Fresh Freesia 1/2 x 2-1/2

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Project Life Corner Rounder Punch
   Adhesive

To cut triangles:
Cut DSP 2-3/4" wide x 2-1/2" tall. Make a pencil mark at 1-3/8 (center) and cut diagonally from that point to each corner. You should have an extra triangle on each side of the one you will use on this card. Save them to use on another card (Birthday Celebration) that I will post later.

Once I had my triangles cut, I adhered them to the DSP panel, as shown above.

Next, I stamped the flowers and lines, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the two stamp sets: Spotlight on Nature, and Of Art & Texture.

I then adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Petal Pink card front.

Next, I stamped my sentiment on a strip of Fresh Freesia and punched each end, using a Project Life Corner Rounder. I adhered it to the card front.

Lastly, I added a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Chalky Pastels

Use your chalks when you want a hint of color. If you decide you want a more vibrant tone, just add a drop of water. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Purple Posy A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   None

Chalks:
   Stampin' Pastels

Technique:
   Punching
   Brushing/Sponging
   Dry Embossing

Accessories:
   Lovely Floral 3D Embossing Folder
   Corner Rounder Punch
   Blending Brushes/Sponges
   Butterfly Gems
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I embossed a Basic White panel, using the Lovely Floral Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder.

I then gathered several sizes of Blending Brushes (use what you have on hand) and my Stampin' Pastels.

Next, I brushed the colors onto the raised portions of the embossed image. I blew away the extra chalk powder that did not stick to the panel. I did not care if the chalk colored outside the embossed image.

Once, I was satisfied with my image, I rounded each of the corners, using the Corner Rounder Punch.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Purple Posy card front.

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones, butterfly gems, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Find Refuge

I chose to leave the dove white, but you can easily color it. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Hope & Prayer

Paper:
   Mossy Meadow A-2, 5 x 3-3/4
   Petal Pink 5-1/4 x 4
   Petal Promenade DSP 4-3/4 x 3-1/2

Ink:
   Mossy Meadow

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems
   Corner Rounder Punch
   Curvy Corner Trio Punch
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Petal Pink panel onto the Mossy Meadow card front.

I then took the smaller panel of Mossy Meadow and rounded the corners, using the Corner Rounder Punch.

Next, I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch on each of the corners of the Petal Promenade DSP panel.

I then stamped the sentiment and dove within the wreath, using Mossy Meadow ink.

Next, I adhered the DSP panel onto the Mossy Meadow panel, and then onto the card front.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Poppy Petals

This is a great layout to use up those small squares of DSP. Rounding two opposite corners turned these squares into petals. Once they were placed with a point toward the center, they resembled a flower. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Peaceful Moments

Paper:
   Basic White A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), 1-3/4" Sq. (4), 3-1/2 x 1 (Sentiment)
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 1-5/8" Sq. (4)
Peaceful Poppies DSP 3" Sq. cut at 1-1/2" to get 4 squares

Ink:
   Poppy Parade

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Project Life Corner Rounder Punch
   Peaceful Poppies Sequins
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I gathered all of my paper, and cut it into squares with two opposite sides rounded off, using a corner rounder punch.

*Note if you are cutting floral paper or any DSP that has a right-side up, make sure you are cutting the correct corner.

I then assembled the petals onto the Basic Black matte without adhering any of them.

Next, I stamped and rounded off two opposite corners on the Basic White sentiment. I laid it in place as well.

Once everything looked fine, I adhered each petal: Basic White on the bottom, followed by a Basic Black, and the DSP on the top.

I then adhered the petals and the sentiment on the Basic Black matte, and then onto the Basic White card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of sequins, using glue dots, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Family

Can you see the face? It took five different stamp sets to bring it all together. I had fun creating and stretching my imagination. Are you with me? Let me know in the comments.

Stamps:
   Work of Art
   Elegant Beginnings
   Warm Words
   Handbill Headlines
   Pretty Amazing

Paper:
   Real Red A-2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Daffodil Delight
   Flirty Flamingo
   Peekaboo Peach
   Sweet Sugarplum
   Melon Mambo
   Real Red
   Basic Black

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Curvy Corner Trio Punch
   Corner Rounder
   Fire Circle Rhinestones
   Paper Piercer
   Adhesive

First, I punched the corners on a Basic White panel. I used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch on the top two corners, and the Corner Rounder on the bottom two corners.

I then used the Work of Art stamp set to draw the splotches representing "facial" features. I began at the top, using Daffodil Delight for the hairline.

I then stamped the round nose, using Flirty Flamingo.

Next, I stamped the left cheek with Peekaboo Peach and the right cheek with Sweet Sugarplum.

I then stamped the mouth with Melon Mambo, and added three dimples (including chin) with Real Red.

Next, I stamped the words, using Basic Black ink. The words came from the remaining stamp sets.

I adhered the panel to the Real Red card front.

Lastly, I added two fire circle rhinestones for the eyes and adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Use a Zentangle technique on your images. It will definitely draw attention to your images. I gave it a go. What do you think?

Stamps:

   Proud Peacock
   Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
   Apricot Appeal A-2, 2 x 2-1/4 (2), 1-3/4 x 2-1/4

   Zentangling
   Dry Embossing
   Sponging

   Zig Zag Embossing Folder
   Corner Rounder Punch
   Sponge
   Adhesive
   Big Shot

There is a tutorial on this technique at Split Coast Stampers: Zentangling. You will find written instructions as well as a video.

First, I stamped each image on a Whisper White panel.

I then drew or doodled patterns on each one.

Next, I rounded the corners with a Corner Rounder Punch.

I sponged each panel, and adhered them to an Apricot Appeal matte.

Next, I dry embossed the Almost Amethyst DSP panel and adhered the image panels, overlapping a corner as shown above.

I then adhered the panel onto the Apricot Appeal card front and added a Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

Lastly, I added a sentiment above the cat. This can be left off and used as an all occasions card.

Thank You Feelings

Color directly onto your designer series paper and give it a new look. This particular paper has been discontinued, but I wanted to use it for a color challenge. So, I added the two missing colors. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Good Feelings

Paper:
   Magenta Madness A-2
   Night of Navy 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Floral Boutique DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside), Scrap

Technique:
   Punching
   Coloring

Accessories:
   Corner Rounder Punch
   2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I colored in the flowers, using a Magenta Madness marker.

I then colored in the background with a Daffodil Delight marker. I wanted it to have a bit of a messy look. So, you can see the marker marks and a bit of the white still showing through.

I then adhered it to the Night of Navy matte, and then onto the Magenta Madness card front.

Next, I stamped my sentiment on a scrap of Basic White, using Magenta Madness ink.

I rounded the four corners, using a corner rounder punch.

Lastly, I added an enamel dot, a few rhinestones and adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
