Lots of Love

Whenever you have beautiful designer paper, you want to keep everything clean and simple. Just add a sentiment, matte, and maybe an embellishment, and you're good to go. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Inspiring Iris

Paper:
   Lemon Lime Twist A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Masterfully Made DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 2-1/4 x 3/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Washi Label Punch
   Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Masterfully Made DSP panel onto a Basic Black matte, and then onto the Lemon Lime Twist card front.

I then stamped and punched the sentiment, using the Washi Label Punch.

Next, I attached it to the card front with dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a couple of Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

2-Step Inspiration

I do enjoy 2-step stamping. It cuts my coloring time considerably. Luckily, not all stamp sets are offered this way, so my play time remains intact. What about you? Do you have a preference? Tell me about it.

Stamps:
   Inspiring Iris

Paper:
   Melon Mambo A-2
   Artistry Blooms DSP 4 x 1-3/8 (2)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8

Ink:
   Melon Mambo
   Garden Green
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping

Accessories:
   Brushed Brass Butterflies
   Glossy Dots Assortment
   Adhesive

First, I adhered one of the Artistry Blooms DSP strips to the top of a Basic White panel.

I then stamped the images and sentiment, using Tuxedo Black Memento = Step 1.

Next, I added color to the images = Step 2. I used Melon Mambo on the flowers and Garden Green on the leaves.

I then adhered the other Artistry Blooms DSP to the bottom of the Basic White panel.

Next, I adhered a Basic Black matte to the panel and then adhered it to the Melon Mambo card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of Brushed Brass Butterflies, a polished dot to the rose, and adhered the other Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Thanks Iris

Clean And Simple (CAS) cards are elegant and beautiful. You do not have to adorn your cards with too many embellishments to make them beautiful, especially if you plan on mailing them. Here is a card with only five little enamel stars. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Inspiring Iris
   Gorgeous Grunge

Paper:
   Soft Suede A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Soft Suede
   Flirty Flamingo
   Terracotta Tile
   Mossy Meadow

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping
   CAS
   Stamp-Off

Accessories:
   2016-2018 Enamel Shapes
   Adhesive

This is a 2-Step stamp set. First, you stamp the outline of the iris and then you stamp the color. The same happens on the leaves.

The background splatters are from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I stamped twice (stamp-off) with the stamp before re-inking. This gives the variation in color for the background splatters.

The sentiment can be changed to suit your needs, and the colors can be changed to whatever palette you desire.

Thank you so much for spending time with me here. Contact Me if you have any questions.

Teacher Frame

Teachers are role models who have a deep and lasting effect on their students. There are teachers who come to mind easily for various reasons, and there are teachers that are never mentioned. What should be realized is that each teacher will impact each student differently each day. Here is a card for the one teacher that stands apart from all of the others.

Stamps:
   Swirly Frames
   Harvest Hellos
   Inspiring Iris

Paper:
   Cajun Craze A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), 3-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Cajun Craze

Markers:
   Real Red
   Crumb Cake
   Garden Green

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Apple Builder Punch
   Corner Rounder Punch
   Brights Candy Dots
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my apple on the 3-1/4 x 4 Whisper White cardstock.

I punched it out with the Apple Builder Punch and colored it with my markers.

I adhered the leaf and stem with glue dots.

I then stamped my frame on the 5-1/4 x 4 Whisper White panel and stamped the sentiment on the top center of it.

I rounded the edges with my corner rounder punch.

I adhered it to the card base.

I then added the candy dots to the corners of the frame and attached the apple using dimensionals.

The other Whisper White panel is for the inside of the card.
