Coral Birds

I like the combination of colors on this designer series paper. I chose three colors to highlight. Thoughts?

Paper:
   Calypso Coral A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Bird Ballad DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Daffodil Delight 3-1/2 x 2-1/2
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Wildflower Designs Dies
3/8" Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon (6")
   Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems
   Rhinestone Basic Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Stampin' Seal+
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment on the Daffodil Delight piece and die cut it, using the Wildflower Designs Dies.

I then wrapped the Pool Party ribbon across the center of the Bird Ballad DSP panel and secured it on the back.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Calypso Coral card front.

I then attached the sentiment die cut in the center of the card, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I randomly added some rhinestones to the card front, placed a gem on each side of the sentiment, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

This was then adhered to a Basic Black matte and then onto the Cajun Craze card front.

Next, I die cut and adhered the frame of a gold foil cross beneath the sentiment.

What type of decision maker are you? Do you think on your feet and make decisions quickly, or do you like to mull things over and get back to it later? Thoughts?

First, I took the Myths & Magic Glimmer paper and tore the right edge, by pulling it toward me.

Next, I stamped the image and the sentiment on the right side of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then colored the image, using watercolor pencils and a blender pen. I used Copic E00 for the skin.

Birthday Picture

Card front panels are sometimes included in a designer series paper pack. This one was perfect for this sentiment. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Picture Perfect Birthday

Paper:
   Rococo Rose A-2
   Pressed Petals DSP 5-1/2 x 4-1/4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the Pressed Petals DSP wreath, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I then adhered the DSP panel to a Rococo Rose card front. I chose to cover the entire card front with the DSP panel, but if you would like a Rococo Rose frame around the panel, you can cut it down to 5-1/4 x 4. In order to keep the wreath in the center, cut 1/8 off from each side.

Next, I added a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the center of the flowers.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Embellishment Passion

I decided to spotlight some of my embellishments on my card front. Too much? What do you think?

Stamps:
   Special Someone

Paper:
   Orchid Opulence A-2, 1-1/4" Circle
   Elegant Eggplant 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 1-1/4" Circle (2)
   Bashful Blue 1-1/4" Circle
   Real Red 1-1/4" Circle
   So Saffron 1-1/4" Circle
   Petal Passion DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Elegant Eggplant

Technique:
   CAS
   Punching

Accessories:
   1-1/4" Circle Punch
   Gold Holly Leaves
   Glitter Star Ornaments
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Petal Passion DSP panel onto an Elegant Eggplant matte and then onto the Orchid Opulence card front.

I then punched 1-1/4" circles from scraps of Elegant Eggplant, Orchid Opulence, Bashful Blue, Real Red, and So Saffron. Note that there are two circles of Elegant Eggplant.

Next, I stamped a flower on the So Saffron circle, using Elegant Eggplant. I found an embellishment to go on each circle. I made sure the colors were the same as the circles or I used a neutral color. Each circle used a different embellishment. You can use whatever you have on hand.

I then adhered each circle to the card front, and then added the embellishment I had chosen for it. I used glue dots or adhesive, depending on what was needed. Only the Glitter Star Ornament was attached with dimensionals.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Everyone is entitled to their own feelings. Only you have control over them, unless you choose to relinquish that control. Personally, I choose happy as often as possible, but there are times when you just have to "feel how you feel," and it's okay! Thoughts?

A Little Sassy

Here's one to let everyone know that you are a team player, as long as they follow your lead. At times, there is no other way, so why not make them smile a bit. Thoughts?

Stamps:
A Little Snarky by Sweet 'n Sassy
Sassy Laugh Lines by Art Impressions

Paper:
   Pumpkin Pie A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2), 2-3/4 x 3/4
   Masterfully Made DSP 1-3/4 x 5-1/4
   Color Me Irresistible SDSP 2-1/4 x 5-1/4
   Melon Mambo Strip 5-1/4 x 1/8

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Pecan Pie

Watercolor Pencils:
   Crushed Curry (Assortment 2)
   Daffodil Delight
   Melon Mambo
   Pumpkin Pie
   Real Red

Technique:
   Blending Brush
   Coloring - Watercolor
   Fussy Cutting

Accessories:
   Blending Brush
   Blender Pen
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped, colored, and fussy cut the young female image.  I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and used watercolor pencils to color her. I then went over the image with a blender pen to blend the color and remove any harsh lines. Lastly, I fussy cut around her and set her aside.

I then took the panel of Color Me Irresistible Specialty DSP and added Pecan Pie ink, using a blending brush. This specialty paper has an embossed-resist wooden pattern to it. So, after adding color, I wiped it down with a paper towel and removed the ink from the embossed lines.

Next, I adhered this panel onto a Basic White panel aligning the left edge as well as the top and bottom.

I then added the Masterfully Made DSP panel on the right side, aligning the right edge along with the top and bottom.

Next, I added the 1/8" strip of Melon Mambo on top of the seam to conceal it.

I then adhered this panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Pumpkin Pie card front.

Next, I attached the young female image on the left side of the card, using dimensionals.

I then stamped a sentiment on the strip of Basic White, and adhered it below the image, but aligning the left edge with the edge of the embossed panel.

Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
