Extreme sports can be exciting, but also extremely terrifying. Many participants just want to get the adrenaline flowing. Ugh, at my age, all I have to do is think about going to the dentist, and my blood pressure soars. LOL! You definitely have to be passionate about the sport to venture into the extreme. What are your thoughts?

Passionate Snowboarder
Passionate Snowboarder
Stamps:
Extreme Snowboard
Inspired by Nature
Paper:
Soft Sky A-2
Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
Ink:
Archival Basic Black
VersaMark
Technique:
Heat Embossing
Accessories:
White Embossing Powder
Stamp-a-ma-jig/Stamparatus/MISTI
Adhesive
First, I smeared my VersaMark pad on the Soft Sky card front.
I quickly added white embossing powder, and heat set it. I did not bother with the embossing buddy because any white specks anywhere would just be considered snow.
Once it was cool, I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position my silhouette precisely where I wanted it. This stamp is still mounted on my wooden block, so using the Stamp-a-ma-jig was my only option.
I stamped the snowboarder twice.
I then added a sentiment and a white panel on the inside.
Here I stamped the snowboarder three times:

Your cards are great! But, extreme sports are not for me to do or watch! I don't need that kind of thrill!!! Scary!
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. My son actually likes to snowboard, so I bought the stamp way back when he was a teen-ager. I thought I would use it on a scrapbook page for him. I'm still waiting to create that one...LOL! He is in his 40's now...Thank you, Fonda for stopping and sharing.
DeleteThis image is great for many of the kids my son goes to college with. They all ride long boards and I am sure once the snow gets here they might be snowboarding down the hills at school. Super cute card with this silhouette.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is such a guy card. I live in South Texas, so we never get snow, but since my son ventured out with his dad and learned to snowboard, I had to get this stamp. I've had it forever and was glad to finally use it. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
