Inspire

What is it about glitter that causes everyone to get perked up and inspired? Everyone seems to jump onto the glimmer, glitz, and gorgeous bandwagon.

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
Sweet Silhouettes Dies, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Adhesive

"Inspire" is die cut in Pool Party and Poppy Parade. I adhered the Poppy Parade on top of the Pool Party and off set it to the right a bit in order to give it a shadow effect. This also balances the Pool Party color on the card.

My designer paper is pretty ancient, but I like using what I have on hand. The best thing about Stampin' Up! products is that they always coordinate with current colors and products. The items may be discontinued, but they never go out of style. Basically, you can use them until they are gone.

The die cut I used coordinates with the Silhouette Scenes stamp set found in our current annual catalog. This is another example of products still working together no matter how much time has gone by.

Note too that the silver strips I used were just leftover pieces that many crafters would have discarded. I, on the other hand, keep them until they disappear somehow.

Thanks for stopping and taking a peek. Your likes, shares, pins, questions, and comments are encouraged and appreciated.

HAPPY STAMPING!

  1. Sally, it's amazing to me how little things can make such a huge difference - like layering the inspire die. Great card design!
