Las Palmas

Here is a gender-neutral scene that can be used for any occasion. Simply, change the sentiment to suit your occasion. I am always in need of thank you cards. Any thoughts?

First, I applied some Soft Sea Foam ink to the Whisper White panel, using my blending brush. If you do not have a blending brush, you can use a sponge.

Next, I stamped my palm trees using Pretty Peacock on a 3-1/2 x 2-1/2 Whisper White piece. I stamped these again to give me four palm trees. I then die cut them using In the Tropics Dies.

I then took a 2 x 4 piece of designer series paper (DSP) from the Tropical Oasis DSP pack and die cut the top of it, using a border die from the Basic Border Dies set.

Next, I adhered the two sets of palm trees to my Whisper White panel. I placed the DSP on the card to gauge my placement of the trees.

I then adhered the DSP to the Whisper White panel.

I stamped my sentiment on the top right corner and added a trinket using a glue dot. I then adhered the layers together and added the other Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

This is a simple card to make, and I must say, the basic border dies should not be ignored. Here is another peek at the card.
