Love OSW#12

I stamped directly onto this beautiful designer series paper (DSP) to create my card front. I think keeping it Clean And Simple (CAS) adds quite a bit of elegance to the card. What do you think?

First, I die cut an oval from my DSP panel. I did make sure to center my oval on the panel so that I can use the negative space on another card.

I then took the oval and stamped my image directly onto it.

Next, I took my card base and stamped my sentiment on the bottom center of the card.

Lastly, I adhered my oval above the sentiment, and attached the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

This is the template that I used to cut my DSP:

The circled pink number refers to the card number where the piece of DSP was placed.

  1. I agree keeping a card CAS adds a lot of elegance to it. Great job stamping directly on the DSP. I have never even thought of doing that. Now I want to go through my DSP and see what I can stamp on it.

  2. Thank you, Lisa. You always manage to put a smile on my face. Unfortunately for us, not all DSP is light enough for stamping. Sometimes, I'll use it for die cuts placed on a solid color. Thanks for stopping by here.
