Thanks Sunflower

Slimline cards fit a regular business envelope. Using this different size makes you think differently to get it adorned, balanced and just right. I used a few wooden elements to help balance and embellish the card. I used some beautiful Fall colors. What do you think?

Stamps:
   Celebrate Sunflowers

Paper:
   Early Espresso 7 x 8-1/2 scored @ 3-1/2
   Country Lane DSP 3-1/4 x 8-1/4
   Whisper White 3-1/4 x 8-1/4, 3-1/4 x 4, 3/4 x 3-1/4

Ink & Markers:
   Cajun Craze
   Crushed Curry
   Early Espresso

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Sponging

Accessories:
   Sunflower Dies
   Gold Faceted Gems
   In Good Taste Wooden Elements
   Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
   Sponge
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I stamped, colored, and die cut my sunflower.

Next, I cut my card base and adhered the DSP on the front and the Whisper White panel on the inside. I left the inside blank for the message the sender will write. You can easily add a watermark or stamped image to the top, bottom, or corner.

I stamped, and punched out my sentiment. I sponged the edges and attached it using dimensionals.

I then attached the sunflower using dimensionals as well.

Lastly, I chose three wooden leaf elements to fill the gaps on the card. I like the natural look of the wood, but these can also be colored with a marker. These were adhered with glue dots.

    1. No, Kelly. SU has not come up with a slimline die collection, yet. They are popular right now, but I think it is because people want something different. If and when SU comes out with something related to slimline cards, I will let you know, or you can check my online store occasionally. Thanks!
