A Little Note to "Thank You Stitch"

I like die cuts that can be used multiple ways. This Stitched Lace die cut is one of my favorites because it can be used whole to create a lacy background, or it can be cut several ways to create various backgrounds or several stitched flowers. I began with a 5-1/4 x 4 inch die cut panel, but then cut two strips apart and a row of circled flowers. I made the following two cards:

A Little Note

Stamps:
   A Little Lace

Paper:
   Flirty Flamingo A-2
   Mango Melody 5-1/2 x 1-1/4 (2)
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Pear Pizzazz

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Stitched Lace Dies
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Stickers (Green Glitter Centers)
   Paper Snips
   Adhesive

This die set is being retired from Stampin' Up and is available only while supplies last. As of today, it is still available, but is on sale at 60% off, so it may not last long. The item number is 149625. Although it goes well with this stamp set, it is versatile and serves as a background, add-on, or alone. Buy yours today and have fun.

As for the cards shown, I simply die cut one panel, cut two rows apart and punched out one row of flowers. The die set comes with the die to cut the rows apart.

  1. I love that lacy die cut. I recently was sent a card from a friend that used that die cut as a full background on a card and it was amazing. Great die cut to have in your stash and beautiful cards with it.
