Love OSW#2

Dress up any card front with some squares of designer series paper (DSP). I like to use this type of layout when I find that I have a strip of DSP left-over. You can easily change it to ovals, rectangles, or any other geometric shape. The important thing is to create and have some fun! Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Love What You Do

Paper:
   Very Vanilla A-2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
Share What You Love DSP 1-1/2" Sq. (3)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Velvet Ribbon
   Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
   Glue Dots
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive
Tacky Tape or Tear & Tape

First, I strategically cut three squares from a DSP panel. I kept in mind that the panel would still be used on a card. For this one I cut the squares vertically on the right side of a panel. (See yesterday's entry: Love OSW#1).

Second, I played with the placement of the squares on a card front. I chose a sentiment that was somewhat squared off to fit in with my squares.

Third, I stamped my sentiment on the left and adhered two of the squares, one above and one below the sentiment.

Fourth, I added a strip and bow of velvet ribbon. I used tear & tape behind the strip of ribbon and a glue dot to attach the bow.

I then attached the third square of DSP using dimensionals.

Lastly, I adhered the other Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

Here is the template I used to cut my DSP:

The pink numbers refer to the card number where the pieces were placed.
