Sailing Father's Day

Father's Day is soon approaching. Here is a card for the fisherman/sailor in your family.

Stamps: Sailing Home, Well Said
Paper: Soft Sea Foam A-2, Petal Pink 5 3/8 x 4 1/8, Watercolor 5 1/4 x 4, Crumb Cake Scraps
Ink: Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam
Technique: Watercolor, Die Cutting, Distressing
Accessories: Smooth Sailing Dies, Kraft Corduroy Button, Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine, Aqua Painter, Glue Dot, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Dimensionals, Adhesive

The background is watercolored using the Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Re-inkers. I also distressed the Petal Pink Panel before applying it to the Soft Sea Foam card base.

I like mixing the old with the new. The only things that are not current are the button and the twine that runs through it. Currently, you can find the trinkets (anchors and captain's wheel) that would look very nicely on the bottom right corner. I like to use up the things that are in my stash and to show how the old still works with current merchandise. The Lucky Limeade color blends in very nicely with the new Soft Sea Foam color. The difference is very subtle. Don't you think?

The new catalog goes live tomorrow, meaning you have only today to purchase from the current catalog. Let me know if you need anything or have any questions.

All of your feedback is appreciated.

HAPPY STAMPING!
