Shimmery Day

Swipe your ink pad across a shimmery white panel to get a result like this one. I did smooth out some color with my aqua painter. I also recommend using Stampin' Spots rather than the large ink pads. And of course, the color choice will make a difference. What colors would you choose?

Stamps:
   Enjoy Life

Paper:
   Tangelo Twist A-2
   Basic Black 5-1/4 x 4
   Shimmery White 5 x 3-3/4
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Midnight Muse
   Tangelo Twist
   Lemon Lime Twist
   Tip Top Taupe
   Hello Honey

Technique:
Ink Pad to Paper + Water

Accessories:
   Basic Pearl Jewels
   Water Spritzer/Mister
   Adhesive
   Aqua Painter

First, I applied my ink to the shimmery white panel. Basically, I rubbed the ink pad directly onto the shimmery white panel, left to right. I misted with water. I also used my aqua painter to smooth out some of the color. Dab at the areas with too much water. The Lemon Lime Twist color was lost amid the darker tones.

Once my panel was dry, I stamped the silhouettes and sentiment. This panel was then adhered to the Basic Black panel and then onto the card base.

The Whisper White panel was adhered to the inside of the card. Lastly, I added a few pearls. When I photographed them, the pearls looked like cotton.
