Brilliant Rock Star

I like the glow around this guitar player. It is electrifying! What do you think?

Stamps:
   Be the Star
   Extreme Guitar

Paper:
   Basic Black A-2
   Irresistibly Yours DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Perfect Plum Scraps
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Elegant Eggplant
   Peekaboo Peach

Technique:
   Watercolor
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Stars Framelits Dies
   Aqua Painter
   Adhesive

I stamped my image first on my Irresistibly Yours DSP. This paper has an emboss resist surface. If you do not have this you can make your own!

I then added the watercolor wash on the background, avoiding the guitar player. This is why there is a glow around him. It did not take the panel long to dry.

Next, I stamped the groups of dots and stars randomly on the background. I then grabbed a paper towel and wiped the panel down. This allows the embossing to shine through.

I grabbed a few scraps of Perfect Plum and stamped my stars and sentiment. I then die cut them and adhered them onto my panel. I used regular adhesive, but you may want to think about using dimensionals.

Lastly, I adhered my layers together and added the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.

  2. Thank you, Jeanette. I do like my guitar player stamp. My grandson is taking up the guitar, so I see more uses for this stamp in the future. Thanks for stopping by here.
