Ice Cream Birthday

Cake and ice cream are perfect together. If you serve cupcakes, you might as well serve ice cream cones. Don't you think?

Stamps:
   Sprinkles of Life

Paper:
   Watermelon Wonder A-2, Scraps
   Cherry on Top DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Pool Party 5-1/4 x 2
   Cucumber Crush Scraps
   Crushed Curry Scraps
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Cucumber Crush
   Watermelon Wonder
   Tip Top Taupe

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Tree Builder Punch
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I cut my designer series panel. Looking at the various colors, I chose Watermelon Wonder as the card base. I adhered this panel to the card front.

Next, I stamped my two scoops of ice cream and the cone on scraps of matching cardstock: watermelon wonder on watermelon wonder, cucumber crush on cucumber crush, and crushed curry on crushed curry.

I then punched out the ice cream using the tree builder punch, and I cut the cone using my paper snips.

I took the Pool Party strip and laid out the cone in the middle. I then stamped the sentiment on the top of the strip. I adhered the cone with liquid adhesive and attached the ice cream with dimensionals. I then stamped "Happy Birthday" on the bottom. I adhered the strip to the center of the designer series paper on the card front.

Lastly, I adhered a few rhinestones on the ice cream and added the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
