Looking for Mute

This is a sneaky way to say you are sorry without saying, "Sorry." There are so very few of us who will admit fault for something. Thoughts?

Stamps:
Sassy Laugh Lines by Art Impressions

Paper:
   Mint Macaron A-2
   Watermelon Wonder 3-5/8 x 4-7/8
   Affectionately Yours DSP 3-1/2 x 4-3/4
   Basic White 2" Circle, 1-1/8 x 2, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Blendabilities/Markers:
   Daffodil Delight Medium
   Night of Navy Medium
   Pink Pirouette Light
   Real Red
   Soft Sky Light

Technique:
   Punching
   Coloring

Accessories:
   2" Circle Punch
   Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the sentiment and the female image on Basic White.

I then colored the image with markers and punched it, using the 2" Circle Punch.

Next, I adhered the Affectionately Yours DSP onto a Watermelon Wonder matte, and then onto the Mint Macaron card front.

I then adhered the circle and sentiment onto the card front.

Lastly, I added a few Rhinestones and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

  1. The sentiment behind this card is so clever and relatable. The combination of Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder makes for a striking color contrast, while the layering of Affectionately Yours DSP enhances the design beautifully. The rhinestone embellishments add just the right amount of sparkle, making the card even more eye-catching. A brilliant way to send an apology with a touch of humor and creativity!

    1. It does bring a giggle or at least a smile to the reader. In my twisted brain, I thought presenting someone with flowers also eases into the apology. Thank you for commenting. Much appreciated!
