First, I stamped my sentiment on the top of the Thoughtful Journey DSP panel, using Mossy Meadow ink.
I then used the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder to dry emboss the Wild Wheat panel.
Next, I adhered the DSP panel to the center of the embossed Wild Wheat panel.
This was then adhered to a Basic Black matte and then onto the Cajun Craze card front.
Next, I die cut and adhered the frame of a gold foil cross beneath the sentiment.
Lastly, I adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
Since, the Thoughtful Journey DSP is a 6x6 panel, I adhered the other half on a card as well:

HAPPY STAMPING!
This card is absolutely stunning! The Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper creates such a picturesque scene, and the combination of Cajun Craze, Basic Black, and Wild Wheat cardstock gives it a beautifully rich and layered look. The dry embossing with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder adds wonderful texture, and the gold foil cross from the Cross of Hope Framelits is such a meaningful touch. The Mossy Meadow ink works perfectly to complement the sentiment. Truly a work of art!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I actually die cut crosses from scraps of gold foil and keep them in small zip-lock baggies to use when needed. I also punch out hearts, flowers, etc. This way, I am using up scraps before they get torn in a larger pouch. I tag the baggy with the name of the dies or punches to give credit to the products used. Of course, I do this only when I know the scrap is too small to be used for anything else. Thanks for commenting!
