Pressed Petals

I think these colors work quite well together. What do you think? 




Stamps:
   Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
   Rococo Rose A-2, 1-3/4 x 1
   Pressed Petals DSP 3-1/4" Sq.
   Basic White 3-1/2" Sq., 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS
   Punching

Accessories:
   Pressed Petals Washi Tape
   Small Oval Punch
   Gold Faceted Gems
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Pressed Petals DSP panel onto a Basic White matte.

I then adhered this panel onto the top of a Rococo Rose card front.

Next, I added two strips of Washi tape to the bottom of the card as show above.

I then added some pressed petals washi tape to the center of the card front, right on top of the two strips of washi tape.

Next, I stamped and punched the sentiment. I then adhered it to the center of the DSP square.

Lastly, I added a Gold Faceted Gem to the center of the Washi Petals and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Pressing Birthday

I used a white taffeta ribbon to hide the seam between the panels. Thoughts?

   Crumb Cake 5-1/4 x 4
   Pressed Petals DSP 5 x 3-3/4 (cut @ 1-3/4 & flip a side)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   Night of Navy

Technique:
   Die Cutting
   Dry Embossing

Accessories:
   Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder
   Beautiful Butterflies Dies
   Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (8")
   Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I dry embossed the solid Pressed Petals DSP panel, using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

I then adhered it onto the Night of Navy panel and added the Pressed Petals DSP floral side next to it.

Next, I attached some White Taffeta Ribbon on the seam to hide it. I secured the ribbon on the back of the panel.

I then adhered the panel onto a Crumb Cake matte and then adhered it onto the Night of Navy card front.

Next, I stamped, die cut, and attached a sentiment, using dimensionals, to the card front.

Lastly, I added a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Tardiness

I like these rich, vibrant colors alongside the subtle Pool Party blue. Thoughts?

   Basic Black 1-5/8 x 5-1/2
   Basic White 1-3/8" Circle, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Rich Razzleberry 1-1/2" Circle

Ink:
   Tuxedo Black Memento
   Pool Party

Technique:
   Watercolor: Emboss-Resist Vellum

Accessories:
   1-1/2" Circle Punch
   1-3/8" Circle Punch
   Peaceful Poppies Elements
   Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems
   Aqua Painter
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the strip of Peaceful Poppies DSP onto a Basic Black matte and then adhered it onto the left side of the Poppy Parade card front.

I then stamped the sentiment and punched it, using the 1-3/8" Circle Punch.

Next, I adhered the sentiment on a 1-1/2" Rich Razzleberry Circle and attached it to the card front, using dimensionals.

I then applied Pool Party ink onto the watercolor paper elements included in the Peaceful Poppies Elements pack and set them aside to dry for a minute. I used two of them.

Next, I adhered the matching vellum on top of them and attached the right one, using liquid adhesive and the left one, using dimensionals on the left side only.

Lastly, I added a few Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed gems to the card front and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Open Occasions

I do like the simplicity of this card. Thoughts?

Technique:
   2-Step Stamping
   CAS

Accessories:
   Open Leaf Trinkets
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Splendid Day DSP panel onto the left side of a Basic White panel.

I then stamped the line image on the right side of the panel, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. (Step 1)

Next, I added color to the image (Step 2), using Fresh Freesia.

I then adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then adhered it onto the Fresh Freesia card front.

Lastly, I attached an Open Leaf Trinket, using a glue dot, and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Here is another card, using a different image from the stamp set and changing the color to Soft Sea Foam

Note that I changed the card base to Soft Sea Foam as well. I like both cards. I also think the copper and gold blend well together. Thoughts?

Bravo Roses Too

This specialty paper is already heat embossed in white. All I have to do is add whatever color I wish and then wipe away the excess. I think it looks great. Thoughts?

   Stippled Roses

Paper:
   Handsome Hunter A-2
   Basic White 5-3/8 x 4-1/8, 1-1/2 x 3-1/4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Irresistibly Floral DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Bravo Burgundy 1-3/4 x 3-1/2

Ink:
   Handsome Hunter
   Bravo Burgundy

Technique:
   CAS
   Watercolor - Emboss-Resist (DSP)

Accessories:
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

First, I added color, Handsome Hunter, to the emboss-resist DSP panel, using an Aqua Painter (watercolor brush).

I then let it dry for a few minutes and wiped off any excess ink, using a paper towel.

Next, I adhered the panel onto a Basic White matte and then adhered it onto the Bravo Burgundy card front.

I then stamped the rose and sentiment, using Bravo Burgundy ink, onto the Basic White rectangular panel.

Next, I adhere the stamped panel onto a Bravo Burgundy matte and attached it to the card front, using dimensionals.

Lastly, I added a Basic Rhinestone Jewel and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
