Translucent Birthday Leaves

I was challenged to create a birthday card with myself in mind. So, I chose this leaf pattern that is transparent. I am an open book with no deep secrets. I am also known to speak my mind, so I used the more dominate leaf to fill in all the empty space. Believe me, everyone knows I'm present. What about you?

Stamps:
   Translucent Florals

Paper:
   Always Artichoke A-2
   Basic Black 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Granny Apple Green
   Always Artichoke

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Glitter Enamel Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped my sentiment in the upper right hand corner of a Basic White panel, using Always Artichoke ink.

I then stamped the translucent leaves randomly on the panel, using Granny Apple Green.

Next, I filled in the white space with the smaller, dominate leaves, using Always Artichoke.

I then adhered the panel onto a Basic Black matte and then onto the Always Artichoke card front.

Lastly, I added a couple of Glitter Enamel Dots and adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

Winter Snow

Although I made this card to add to my Christmas box, it can be sent for any occasion. I like having several cards that can be sent for whatever purpose arises. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   Peaceful Evergreens

Paper:
   Early Espresso A-2, 1/8 x 4 (2)
   Crumb Cake 5-1/4 x 4
   Very Vanilla 3-1/4 x 4, 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)
   Season of Elegance DSP 3/4 x 4 (2)
   Mossy Meadow 1-1/2 x 3-1/4 (3)

Ink:
   Old Olive

Technique:
   Stamp-Off
   Tearing
   Die Cutting

Accessories:
   Peaceful Evergreens Dies
   Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots
   Snowfall Accents Puff Paint
   Fine Tip Glue Pen
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the Very Vanilla panel with trees. I stamped one in the center and then again behind it without re-inking. (Stamp-Off) This gave me two shades of Old Olive. I repeated this step on the left side and right side of the panel. Since there are more lighter tones of Old Olive, I did stamp-off on my scratch paper to fill the background.

I then tore a tiny bit off one end of each Season of Elegance DSP strip. I tore the paper toward me to get that bit of white on the edge.

Next, I adhered each of these DSP strips to the Crumb Cake panel: one on the top and one on the bottom with the torn edge toward the center of the card. The strips are flush with the outer edges of the Crumb Cake panel.

I then adhered the stamped Very Vanilla panel in the center of these strips of DSP.

Next, I took two of my leftover 1/8" strips of Early Espresso and adhered one on the top edge of the Very Vanilla panel and one on the bottom edge.

I then die cut three trees, using the matching die from the Peaceful Evergreens dies and Mossy Meadow card stock.

Using my Fine Tip Glue Pen, I adhered these trees onto the three dominate trees on the card.

Next, I adhered this panel onto an Early Espresso card front.

I then randomly added a few snowballs, using my Snowfall Accents Puff Paint and let it dry over night. Unfortunately, these dried clear, so I added some Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots instead. Let me add that the puff paint dried clear because I forgot to heat set it. Duh...my brain skipped a few steps.

Lastly, I adhered a Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

Four at a Time

Make four different cards at one time. Simply choose four colors, patterns, and sentiments that can work together. Thoughts?

Praying for You Now

Welcome

You're So Sweet

Just Because 4

Stamps:
   Circle Circus

Paper:
   Strawberry Slush A-2 (2)
   Pistachio Pudding A-2 (2)
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (4 for Stamping & 4 for Inside), Scraps

Ink:
   Coastal Cabana
   Crisp Cantaloupe
   Pistachio Pudding
   Strawberry Slush
   Tuxedo Black Memento

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Swirls Embossing Folder (Cuttle Bug)
   Fancy Fan Embossing Folder
   Square Lattice Embossing Folder
   Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder
   Hodgepodge Hardware (Vanilla, Silver, Antique)
   Adhesive

I chose a stamp set that had circles with various patterns on them to stamp my backgrounds. I chose one color for each pattern. I stamped the 4 Basic White panels, using a stamp from the Circle Circus stamp set and one color from those listed above. I covered the entire panel with that pattern and color.

I also wanted a different texture to each panel. So, I ran each panel through the die cutting and embossing machine, using a different embossing folder for each. They are listed above under accessories.

Next, I cut each panel exactly the same and then exchanged the cut panels so that each card had a piece from each of the other cards.
First cut was to cut one inch from the four inch side of each panel.
Second cut was to cut 1-3/4 off the 5-1/4" side of each 3 x 5-1/4" panel.
Third cut was to cut 2" off the 5-1/4" side of each 1 x 5-1/4" panel.

I then found four sentiments that fit inside each of the Hodgepodge Hardware frames. I stamped them on scraps of Basic White, using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Next, I traced the frame for each one and fussy cut it to fit securely into each frame. You can also just add a glue dot behind it and then place the frame to fit directly on top of it.

I then added a sentiment and frame to each of the 3 x 3-1/2" panels and secured them with their matching brads.

Next, I arranged each of the pieces onto 4 card bases as shown above. I chose to use only two of the colors as card bases.

Lastly, I adhered each panel onto the card front and added a Basic White panel to the inside of each card.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I try my best to keep it short and sweet. Contact Me if you have questions or need anything Stampin' Up!

Be Mine, Love

I like the movement of the banner on this card. It looks like it is glued down to the card front, but if you stand it up, the banner can swing back and forth. You can easily use this as a traditional Valentine's Day card, or simply to express your love toward that special someone. Thoughts?

Stamps:
   You Plus Me
   Banner Blast
   Post Card

Paper:
   Real Red A-2, Scraps
   Very Vanilla 5-1/4 x 4 (2), Scraps
   Red Glimmer Scraps

Ink:
   Early Espresso
   Real Red

Technique:
   Punching

Accessories:
   Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine 12"
   Basic Rhinestone Jewels
   Hearts Border Punch
   Banner Punch
   Sticky Strip
   Glue Dots
   Adhesive

First, I stamped the Post Card image onto a Very Vanilla panel, using Early Espresso ink.

I then stamped and punched three banners out of Very Vanilla scraps, using Early Espresso ink and the Banner punch.

Next, I stamped a Real Red heart in the center of each of these three banners.

I then stamped and punched two love banners, using Real Red ink and the Banner punch. I added a rhinestone to the letter O on each one.

Next, I adhered the Post Card Very Vanilla panel onto the Real Red card front.

I then made two tiny bows out of Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Next, I placed the baker's twine across the front of the card as shown above. I placed the banners on the card and on top of the twine to see how it would look. This is the step to make adjustments or changes to the "look of the card."

Once, I was happy, I added a glue dot to the two ends of the twine and adhered it to the two corners of the post card.

I then added a very thin piece of sticky strip to the back of each banner - just enough to hold it in place and on the twine. I attached each banner in place on the twine.

Using a glue dot, I then adhered a bow to each of the ends on the twine.

Next, I stamped a sentiment to the left side of the post card, using Real Red ink.

Lastly, I punched and attached three red glimmer hearts to the bottom of the post card and adhered a Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the card.

Frosted Florals

I really like all of the colors on these flowers and leaves. Any one of these colors can be highlighted by simply choosing it as the card base. I chose Blushing Bride. Thoughts?

Frosted Florals

Stamps:
   None

Paper:
   Blushing Bride A-2
   Blackberry Bliss 5-3/8 x 4-1/8
   Frosted Floral DSP 5-1/4 x 4
   Basic White 5-1/4 x 4 (Inside)

Ink:
   None

Technique:
   CAS

Accessories:
   Adhesive

First, I adhered the Frosted Floral DSP panel onto a Blackberry Bliss matte and then onto the Blushing Bride card front.

I then adhered a Basic White panel to the inside of the card.

I chose to not add embellishments for easy mailing, but you can easily add rhinestones, pearls, ribbon or anything else you like or have on hand.

Here is another card that is a bit different, simply because it is a different cut from the same sheet. What do you think?

Frosted Florals Too

Since, I only have one sheet of this DSP, it is unique and can not be duplicated.
