Let It Snow

Create your own background using an embossing folder and a piece of vellum. The embossing folder will break up the fibers in the vellum, causing the image to appear white as well as raised. This is perfect for a Christmas card, especially when the sentiment is let it snow.

Stamps:
   Big on Christmas

Paper:
   Bashful Blue A-2
   Bordering Blue 3-3/4 x 2-3/8
   Whisper White 2-1/8 x 3-1/2
   Vellum 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Basic Black

Markers:
   Always Artichoke
   Ballet Blue
   Basic Black
   Pumpkin Pie
   Real Red
   Soft Suede

Technique:
   Dry Embossing

Accessories:
   Winter Snow Scene Embossing Folder
   Vellum Tape
   Dimensionals
   Adhesive

Begin by stamping the image and coloring it with markers.

Next, adhere it to the Bordering Blue piece.

Dry emboss the vellum piece and adhere it to the Bashful Blue card base.

Adhere image to the middle of the card using dimensionals.

I decided to use discontinued stamps and products from my stash. All of these are more than five years old - I lose track. I just wanted to demonstrate that stamps, ink, markers, paper, etc will last as long as they are stored properly.

Thank you for stopping and taking a peek. Let me know what you think.
