Peaceful

Are you able to just be quiet and still? Can you spend time alone and meditate, pray, think, or just dream? Most people have new ideas when they are taking a shower or falling asleep. They were more than likely alone and gave themselves time to THINK. Here is a card that depicts and expresses the peacefulness and serenity that we all need today.

Stamps:
   Peaceful Place

Paper:
   Dapper Denim A-2
   Soft Suede 5-1/4 x 4
   Watercolor 5 x 3-3/4

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black

Markers:
   Dapper Denim
   Soft Suede
   Garden Green
   Sahara Sand

Technique:
   Watercolor

Accessories:
   Aqua Painter
   Water Spritzer
   Adhesive

I colored directly onto the stamp with markers.

Spritzed the stamp with water and then stamped onto the watercolor paper.

I then used my aqua painter to add more color and blur some of the lines.

The sentiment was stamped using Archival Basic Black.

Thank you for dropping by here. Let me know what you think. I appreciated your time and comments.

HAPPY STAMPING!

  5. I struggled with ways to use this stamp and searched Splitcoaststampers for ideas. I saved your notes and will attempt to do your water color style. Thank you for posting. I think your water coloring looks perfect with this stamp.
