Remember When

With Father's Day around the corner, this card is perfect to recall a wonderful memory shared between you and your father, grandfather, or great-grandfather. Of course this card can also be used to reminisce with a friend about a slower paced time or your favorite memory.  




Stamps:
   Feeling Sentimental
   Elegant Beginnings

Paper:
   Soft Sky A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4

Ink:
   Archival Basic Black
   Soft Sky

Technique:
   Sponging
   Distressing

Accessories:
   Stacked with Love Washi Tape
   Adhesive

Sponge the Whisper White panel with Soft Sky. 

Distress the edges with a distressing tool or your scissors.

Stamp image on the top center of the panel.

Add a strip of Washi Tape to represent a street or just to divide the image and the sentiment.

Stamp the sentiment on the bottom center of the panel.

Adhere panel to the card base using your favorite adhesive.

This wonderful masculine card can be used for any occasion. You decide by what you write on the inside of the card.

  1. Oh this is just dreamy! On old fashioned card always make us smile - and that's a great focal point! The catalog just landed in my mailbox and I haven't even cracked it open yet - anxious to see whats inside!

    1. This image is from a retired set, but I love it. You are going to love the new catalog. My button jar card was made using one of the new stamp sets as well as all of the Poppy cards. Thank you, Kelly for your wonderful comment.

    1. Thank you Lisa. I like the black and white too. Most men also prefer it. I distressed the edges too trying to create that roughness for them.
