Just Because Lakefront

The Waterfront stamp set is quite versatile. You can create endless scenes, using the stamps in the set only, or combining them with other sets. If you run out of ideas, just check your favorite social media sights, or click on Waterfront on the left sidebar. I believe I have blogged more than 10 cards using this set so far. Here is another...Just Because.

Stamps:
   Waterfront
   Dozen Thoughts (A)

Paper:
   Mango Melody A-2
   Whisper White 5-1/4 x 4 (2)

Ink:
   Granny Apple Green
   Mango Melody
   Misty Moonlight
   Crumb Cake

Technique:
   Stamp-Off
   CAS

Accessories:
   Clear Wink of Stella
   Adhesive

I began by stamping land in the middle of the panel, using Crumb Cake. I used one stamp and stamped twice before re-inking.

Next, I stamped the trees, using Granny Apple Green. By stamping two and three times before re-inking, you create the different shades of Granny Apple Green plus dimension.

Then, I stamped the lake using Misty Moonlight. It is a very dark shade of blue, so I stamped-off on a scratch paper and then stamped twice on the panel before re-inking.

I then added a sun using Mango Melody.

The sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight.

I added clear Wink of Stella to the lake to give it some shimmer. It looks wonderful in person, but the glitter does not show up on the photo.

All in all, I used 4 stamps from the Waterfront stamp set and one stamp (sentiment) from the Dozen Thoughts stamp set.
